Welcoming reception.

Enjoyed our stay here. Good comfy bed, large room, good bathroom products, good kitchen area. Nice decor.

I have rated this as a Roadside Motel, not a City Hotel. The staff are very pleasant & efficient. The Motel is clean & comfortable & has everything you need to prepare a meal. We would not hesitate to return.

Older motel but very clean, nice kitchenette. WiFi was spotty

Basic amenities. Road noise. Unfortunately water main break left property with no water for toilet or shower

Very friendly people run this motel and enjoyed my stay, I recommend a stay here if you are in this area .A visit to the east beach was excellent also recommended. But this motel is out of town but close enough, probably better than ones in town.

Great place for night stay. On SH 1 so easy to find, parking outside unit, laundry available.

We stayed at this motel, to help break up our journey south. The room was spacious, spotless and comfortable. Despite its location adjacent the highway, the room was quiet with a rural outlook. Our room looked suitable for a wheelchair bound person with wide doorways and spaces between furniture. Accommodation was about 10mins walk to town center. Room had a range of modern amenities

Beautiful place to stay, everything you want and need, very quiet spot. 3 nights stay.

A great room for the night. Quiet and comfy.

Short stopover before heading to Auckland. Hotel was very nice, clean eith great staff. Did not get to check out the hot tub, but did get into town for supper. Good overall experience.

This is a great Motel about1 hour out of Auckland this was or first time stay here the Motel may look dated but don’t let this put you off the unit we stayed in was a Studio unit the room was very spacious and the hole unit was very clean it had separate toilet of the bathroom which in itself was of a good size the shower was big enough to have a party in the shower itself had great pressure and the floor area had stones on the concrete floor and it wasn’t slippery the bed was comfortable the kitchen area had the basics and a microwave thanks to Bridget who gave us a great welcome as stated the Motel may look out dated but the owner is doing it up so stop on in and see Bridget

It is very convenient, since it is right on the road, but consequently a bit noisy. If the rooms faced the other way, there would be nice views of the countryside. We walked to dinner, but it was a mile to center of town.

Great place to stay

Great motel for a very reasonable price. Comfortable and generally clean. Friendly and helpful owners. Would recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay in Wellsford.

Nice for the one night we stayed but no where to go for walks.
