Excellent from start to finish

Very friendly and helpful host with great rooms would recommend to friends and family..

The host were absolutely amazing people! Properties were clean and beautiful! Has a beautiful view and not to far from the banks of Loch Lomond(5min) and not to far from the highlands! Also very close to Glasgow! 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Next trip to Scotland will be staying again!

Lovely traditional B&B, very well located for all amenities. Breakfast was fabulous. Very accommodating and friendly host Car parking is available opposite the guest house. Room decor was lovely, definitely use again

This is a fantastic place. The owners are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The space is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. It's a great spot to explore the area from or to stay before heading off on the ferry nearby. Definitely a great stay!

Lake view is gorgeous, when we arrived we were greatly by Elaine and shown to our room which was decorated to a very high standard and a fantastic en suite.. the property is decorated well throughout and the dining room is well equipped for all you need for breakfast including little extra touches that the owners included.. we have had the best stay and would highly recommend the property to anyone

We love our 2 rooms bedroom and sitting room. Even though we were up 3 flights of stairs. It made for a funny conversation with family

Ideal for the ferry to Ireland. Superb breakfast

Easy parking and Elaine was such a kind and gracious host. The property was snug and very charming. Everything was impeccably clean and nice. We were leaving too early for the standard breakfast time so she went out of her way to put things out for us. It was just like home! Rodney’s garden was also beautiful outside the window!

Our room was lovely, beautifully decorated and had decent views. Parking outside was not a problem, and the overall atmosphere of Lakeview Guest house as well as the attention detail ( and the breakfast) made our stay perfect.

A comfortable bed for the night plus a refreshing shower in the morning

Lakeside' host was great, making us fee very welcome. Had a lovely room on the top floor, which was really well appointed. The full Scottish breakfast was great. Won't hesitate to book again if in the Stranraer area.

Very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was simply amazing, lots of options. Only stayed one night, was a wonderful place to stop on our journey.

Good facilities adjoining areas poor

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, which was conveniently located and easy to find. The staff were exceptionally courteous, even going so far as to call ahead and confirm the check-in time, as well as suggest dining options. The breakfast was delightful, offering a wide variety of options to choose from.

Relaxing and comfortable. Short taxi from the ferry port. Very cute town to walk around. right across from the old port. sounds of seagulls!
