No housekeeping. AC not working either. Everytime I needed something I was informed it would cost extra so I just stopped asking. Towels had to be physically exchanged at reception. Very bizarre. Would not recommend.

Simple hotel with the basics, helpful staff

The Cococious Monpa was perfect for what we needed. Staying here is similar to staying in a local apartment. It is conveniently located on the edge of American Village and walkable to restaurants and attractions in both American Village and Sunabe. The rooms are simple, spacious, and very clean. The air conditioning unit works well. The walk-in shower room had excellent water pressure and maintained a nice, hot water temperature. The mattresses were firm but still provided a great night's sleep. The room was insulated well from sound, and we could not here any noise from 58 or from other guests. There is a small kitchenette in the room with a burner unit, sink, and cabinets for storage. However, there was no pot to cook with, which was a bit disappointing. The room also got quite humid. Having lived in Okinawa for years, we are used to dealing with humidity and having to empty dehumidifiers. Unfortunately, even if we emptied the provided dehumidifier before bed, it would fill up and stop running during the night. As a result, we would end up waking up between 4-6am to a hot/humid room and have to empty it to go back to sleep. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay overall and the Cococious Monpa was a good fit for our needs.

Good location for walking to locations in American Village, while staying away from the busiest areas.

It is the perfect location for visiting family members stationed at Kadena, Lester, or Foster. Staying in American Village made it convenient, and this property was spotlessly clean. The staff was great and understood the language gap. I ventured outside of American Village North and South, and the neighborhoods were clean and safe. Walking the boardwalk along the coast right from my hotel was also convenient. For the price you still get, the American village stay is located right inside on the edge of the village. There isn't one negative thing about this property. The restaurant on the property is also excellent, but there are probably a hundred places in the village to eat. I stayed on this property for my first four nights as it checked all the boxes I booked another ten nights.

Very nice and modern hotel. Extremely clean. Very homy. Lots of places to eat within walkable distance. There is even a free cart shuttle that can take you around the American Village and even to the Aeon supermarket.

My stay was great! The staff was really helpful. The rooms had a scheduled cleaning every few days, but the room was always cleaned properly. I would recommend it for a stay in Okinawa
