Resort is beautiful and rooms are updated and clean. The food is incredible! Swim out room was amazing. The resort is small. Approx 75 rooms and seemed like only 40% full between Christmas and new years. Out of all the restaurants, only 2 were open on any given night and get your reservation in by 9am to stand a chance of getting in. The service is beyond terrible. When ordering drinks, order 2 or 3 at a time as it takes 30 plus minutes to get them - even if there are few people. We ate one night at the italian restaurant and it took so long the waitress asked people to leave as they needed the tables for people waiting. This was while we were still eating. Same night we ordered 2nd round of drinks while waiting for food. A huge eye roll and a huff from waitress. 45 minutes later asked to leave and never did get 2nd drink. Water was muddy brown and dirty the entire time - not very enjoyable. This resort has nothing for daytime entertainment by the pool. Just very bad yacht rock themed music over bad speakers. Absolutely nothing happens anywhere at anytime. Everything closes at 10, which means drinks are done by 9:15. Closing at 10 means lights out and employees leave. If you want to get to town plan ahead. Taxis area minimum 1 hour wait. We got lucky with an uber which the front desk said is illegal- worked anyway. The one way shuttle ride is just under 3 hours from Liberia and just over 4 hours from San Jose so plan accordingly.

The property is very clean and pretty modern right on the beach. The room was wonderful and the staff were pleasant and always helpful. We enjoyed the entire week. I wasn't overly impressed with the food. While there were plenty of places to eat with several different styles of food, nothing really jumped out. The whole Samara area is really nice and pretty quiet. You can walk on the beach all the way to town (about 2 miles). It was a little hot in the afternoon.

The Resort and grounds were beautiful. The food was really good at all the restaurants. The staff was accommodating and nice. It’s a very chill and lowkey resort so if you’re looking for beautiful scenery and our relaxation, this is the place for you!

The room was great. We had the deluxe king swim up with an ocean view. Most of the staff was courteous and the overall resort was good. There needs to be an improvement on the food and the selection. Also, the resort needs to buy more bath towels and pool towels. It was like pulling teeth just to get a towel. I would have still rated 4 stars. However, the morning we needed to check out we got locked out of our room for over an hour before anyone could resolve the problem (the batteries needed changing in the door lock). We ended up arriving later to the airport. We stayed at Azura Beach in April 2024 and we came back because we really enjoyed it. However, after this stay, we will not be back any time soon.

Room: It was perfect! Hotel: Also really good! Restaurants/Food: The food was amazing! To be improved: Customer Service: There is a Whatsapp number that you need to reach out to book dinners at their different restaurants and book tours, the issue is that there is only 1 person to answer the chat and has other duties so it takes somewhere between 2 and 4 hours to get an answer… Staff: It seems that there is no management and to train new people, if you ask for their food service times they all say something different so you don’t really know if breakfast time is over or not or if it is snack time or whatever. Morning Snack Time: We were at the hotel 4 days, some staff said morning snacks were at 9 am, some other at 10 am and some at noon, the thing is that there was no morning snack time in any of the four days, one day a lady just said “the guy who cooks didn’t come”… so, solve it, if not is it even all inclusive?… then other day the guy showed up at 11:20, and starting organizing some stuff in the kitchen so that time passed by, lunch time and he left, 40 minutes doing nothing… Jorge or George: he is just lost, we don’t know if it was that he wasn’t trained or something but he asked for our order 3 different meal times and he forgot all 3, there had to be someone else checking orders because George was completely lost… Wifi: The Wifi is just useless, no connection and when it connects is super slow… and it doesn’t get to 3rd floor, it just connect but their isnt.

Terrible from beginning to the end. Started off claiming I didn’t pay a deposit, which Expedia confirmed was paid. Demanded full payment. Food awful, drinks, awful. Service seriously lacking but not bc of the staff but bc they were severely understaffed. Room service is non-existent. We ended up buying our own alcohol as they only served non branded liquor and beer one beer. Had to chase down house keeping to get a towel bc when they cleaned,they took the dirty towels including hand and wash cloths but only left ONE shower towel afterwards. My husband asked for two pillows and they told him they probably “wouldn’t do that”. So many problems, too many to list.

My fiancé and I were traveling and checked into our rented condo, but unfortunately the AC was broken. We looked up AZURE and decided to check out this location for our week-long stay. From the minute we walked in the door, the staff was kind and welcoming, and we received a tour of the resort and immediately fell in love with it. We decided to book and stay for the week. I have had the opportunity to travel to other all‑inclusive locations, and this one was by far the best place I have stayed at. This resort is truly 5 stars. The staff, food, and rooms were all top‑notch. This is a smaller, adults‑only resort; we enjoyed the pools and quiet atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and unwind.

L’hôtel est très beau . Manque un peu d’entretien dans les chambres. Le personnel est très gentil . Surtout les serveurs du resto chill and grill . Over all c’était une bonne expérience.

I paid for an ocean view room and did not receive that.
