Fantastic location and interesting boutique hotel! We loved the emphasis on poetry and writers. Breakfast was delicious. The smaller rooms are very small and may not be a good fit if you are traveling with a lot of luggage.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay at The Wilder. The staff was incredibly nice and attentive. They went out of their way to recommend local eateries, helped us when we needed a plug to fit the outlet, and helped me when I accidentally left my key card in the room. The rooms were clean, up modern, and the ac worked great. 10/10 would definitely stay here again in the future!

One of the nicest hotel stays I've had in a good while. The hotel is lovely, charming and located on a quiet street just outside of the city. On a nice day, it's lovely to sit outside with a drink and nibbles - the perfect getaway. The building is immaculately kept and the rooms are very comfortable. And from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel most welcome. The breakfast was excellent, though it's worth noting that lunch and dinner menus were more lite bites and salads, so if you're looking for something more substantial you'll need to go to one of the several nearby restaurants. Highly recommended.

I had an exceptional stay at this unique boutique hotel. I was upgraded to a suite, which was quite special and unexpected. The attention to detail in the room was exquisite. Everything was perfect and the breakfast was quite well done. I wish I could have stayed longer and would love to return.

The staff seemed honestly sincere with their greetings, so friendly and went out of there way to help, from the reception staff, catering staff and the staff that kept the room very clean and stocked. I would highly recommend the Wilder.

Everything about our stay was great. The staff was accommodating and super friendly. Would highly recommend staying if you’re in Dublin. It’s far enough outside the city center where it was quiet.

A beautiful hotel with wonderful accommodating staff!!! however, the room we were given was a cubbyhole with absolutely no place to put our clothes.. it was made clear to us that as a historical hotel they couldn’t build closets. However, there wasn’t even drawer space!! – – If we had known we’d be tripping over our suitcases for two days, we would not have gone there!!! As well, breakfast was not even included in the hefty price for the room.

The hotel is located in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood just a short walk from St. Stephen’s Green, which is one of its few highlights. I booked this property because it’s part of the Small Luxury Hotels group, but sadly, it delivered on neither luxury nor boutique. It felt like a place that may have once been a charming, elevated hotel, but has since been acquired by a chain and stripped of its soul. The amenities were limited, the quality didn’t match the nearly €400 per night price tag, and the service was underwhelming at best. The front desk was often unattended and offered no help with local recommendations—something you’d expect as standard, especially at this price point. If you’re going to spend this kind of money on a hotel in Dublin, I’d suggest staying elsewhere. This one simply doesn’t live up to expectations.

Loved the Wilder. Great location and staff was amazing. Rooms were not large but lovely details - loved the tea cups for coffee/tea and the cookies for the morning. Lots of towels and amenities and a lovely outdoor seating area - quiet spot but close to many ways to explore the city.

We had a small room with queen bed. What they call a small double. Barely had room for the bed, no storage space. Shower you could barely turn around in. But great location, great breakfast, and charming place
