Nice hotel but poor sound insulation in the rooms (may have been mine specifically as I was given a room with the elevator right outside my door.. so noisy!). Room had bad smells from the drainage and had scents in the bathroom so must be an ongoing issue. Overall, nice hotel and would stay again but bring earplugs and ask for a room away from the elevator!

There was ongoing work around the rooftop pool area with scaffolding which was noisy during our stay. We found it difficult to relax when trying to sunbathe on the cabanas due a man shouting to his work colleague. We could hear banging whilst in our room which made it difficult to relax in our room. The pool area had green sludge marks around the inside perimeter of the pool. I was extremely disappointed that you had to reserve sun beds with limited slots available over the 3 designated bookable slots. I contacted the hotel direct before booking and they advised because we were staying out of season the sunbeds where first come first basis so this is the reason I booked this hotel. However, this was not the case and we were told we had to reserve via the hotels app and for 2 days of our trip we were unable to sunbathe at all. The rooms themselves were lovely clean and spacious and the staff were helpful and polite. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a relaxing sunbathing style holiday due to the difficulties of getting a sunbed however if you don’t intend on spending much time in the hotel and prefer to be out exploring then this would be ideal as the location is very close to the water front.

Staff were very nice and attentive especially when eating in the restaurant. Close to many shops but when in your room you can’t hear the outside noise. Very peaceful environment. The spa facilities were always clean and the staff makes you feel very comfortable when having treatments done. Very good price for the rooms given and amenities available. The app makes it easy to book things and find out more about your surroundings. The roof top pool gets booked out very fast so book in advance to guarantee a spot. Room can get quite dark during the night due to lack of lighting with the curtains closed but very nice during the day with a good about of sunlight shining through.

Staff were great! Room was spacious and comfortable too! Didn’t actually get to use the spa or the pool in the end - the only shame

Overall average stay. Problems included: no microwave, really warm room at some points with no solution as AC system couldn't be controlled by the staff (?), hot water got cut off multiple times in the room so couldn't shower, no locks on bathroom door, lack of hangers and hooks, and a bad toilet flush. Breakfast was decent, not too much variety and quite repetitive, but catering staff were very nice - they cooked vegetarian options if you asked. Room cleaning staff were also nice. Hotel staff in the reception weren't though.

Left my credit card at the front desk when charged the $2 tax and it was stolen. Luckily my card company caught the first charge as fraud but disappointed that the hotel kept and lost the card. Beyond that hotel lobby was small and chaotic, elevator was slow, AC was broken. Not as expected.

Great hotel in a very good location, close to ferry and bus terminals. With lots of great restaurants close by We were disappointed to find out the spa and indoor pool were an extra expense and across the road. Breakfast was good except the scrambled eggs, which were incredibly runny, very granular in texture and i suspect not made from fresh eggs. Great system of digital key pad for room entry means you never risk losing your key. We would recommend this hotel, the staff were really friendly

Not really a family friendly place, off season at least. Kids not allowed in indoor pool aside from 2 hr slot early morning. Breakfast ok but variety could be improved. The GV Restaurant however was superb, deserving of its Michelin status! And staff were lovely and genuinely helpful and understanding.

Clean rooms and lovely turn down service. Breakfast was fantastic. The spa area was great as was the terrace area although this was only open on one day of our stay due to the weather. We decided to pay for a massage which was one of the best value for money treatments we have ever had. The staff were really friendly and 2:1 cocktail hour is a bonus. Would happily stay here again.

The staff made this stay excellent - especially Santiago who checked us in and was happy to recommend local eateries for us upon request. The room was spacious and the spa / pool facilities were excellent. There are only few niggles that could do with improvement: the lighting within the room, the availability of room air conditioning year round and a more extensive breakfast (greater fruit availability). That being said, we would definitely return. Truly the staff were so hospitable and kind, and the spa facilities were impressive particularly at the price point.

Nice hotel centrally located in Silema. Quick walk to the main street but in a quiet area. The gym was across the street, small but functional. There is a much larger gym a 5 minute walk that offers day passes for €10. Breakfast was busy and well appointed, but small. More than a few days and it got a bit "samey". Nice fresh orange juice (a rarity often!).

Nice stay with good choices for breakfast. Convenient for the buses with the 13,13a, 14 and 16 into Valletta. Bed not the most comfy. 2 occasions when room service knocked on unexpectedly to replace water even starting to open the door, which wasn’t appreciated. Despite this would stay again.

The hotel was really lovely. The rooms and facilities are all well maintained. The staff are all very friendly and willing to help. The one thing I would urge people to consider; if you are in a room with an adjoining door to another room, perhaps only stay here if your family/friends are on the other side as you can hear everything.

We had a great stay as a family of 3 (with a 6 month old baby). The hotel was very accommodating and provided us with a crib. The room and property were very clean. They only have the air conditioning on once it gets a bit hotter, but they were able to provide us with a fan as the week we were there was warmer than usual for the season.
