We had a great stay! We were so impressed with the kindness and helpfulness of the staff- we struggled to find parking, Luis personally found us and helped us park and carry our bags- he was exceptional! The hotel was clean and beautiful with easy access to the local squares.

The room was clean and the staff was helpful but the room was terribly basic and needs some work. If you just need a space to sleep with no frills, it's fine.

Loved the location and friendly staff. Parking was a problem, but staff lent a hand. I will recommend Residenza dei Capitani to friends.

Nothing negative at all

The room was very spacious and so close to everything.

The rooms were spacious for European rooms. We unexpectedly received an upgraded room through Expedia, whom we made our reservations through, and that room was spectacularly large. Our friends had a more modest room, but it was fairly roomy by European standards. We were given a receipt to have breakfast at a local coffee bar/pasticceria, where we had a selection of a sweet (coffee, orange juice, pastry) or savory (coffee, orange juice, small sandwich) meal. The only criticisms that I have are that the neighborhood was extremely noisy, (at least the "party" on the square was over by midnight) and the deep tub was difficult to get into/out of without a grab bar.

We were able to walk from the train to the property which was pleasant. The host was pleasant and helped us with a map of the area as well as an explanation of the amenities in the room. Coffee machine, tea maker and some much needed cookies were ready when we got there. Loved the size of the bathroom, the room the bed and the cute view from the hotel. We did not have the courtyard view but the pastry shop across the alley and the shops around it. It was nice to hear Italian from the window at night and in the morning. Great hotel. Thank you

No tiene restaurante ni gym pero la habitación es increíble

No me permitieron cancelar ni modificar la reservación a pesar de la situación sanitaria ocasionada por el COVID-19 en su País. Muy mala actitud.

Ho scelto questo hotel per la sua posizione e per l'offerta speciale. Ho incontrato Louis, persona squisita, con cui ho subito creato un ottimo rapporto. È stato gentilissimo nell'indicarmi i luoghi da visitare e qualche ristorante dove gustare dei buoni piatti, ma mi ha soprattutto messo a disposizione una camera superiore a quella prenotata e al medesimo prezzo. Anch'io gestisco un B&B in Gallipoli e dunque i rapporti sono stati particolarmente cordiali. L'hotel è assolutamente impeccabile così come la camera, ampia e ben arredata, ma quel che mi ha davvero deliziato è l'affaccio diretto su piazza del popolo, un vero capolavoro. Bravo Louis, ci vediamo a Gallipoli.

Ottima residenza in pieno centro. Siamo contenti di aver scoperto una città così bella e accogliente.
