Excellent location — just a 5-minute walk to Kızılay walking street area. The room was spacious and clean. Great value for the convenience and comfort.

The only problem is that staff doesn't speaks english. Hope the have at least a person at the reception who speaks the language

Three star hotel

Small hotel close to Kizilay Square, shops and restaurants. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed a body scrub in Bubbles, a lovely experience. Excellent value for money

The Hotel staff were very kind and helpful. The Hotel itself was a great place to stay in with a great location.

The hotel was in a great location very near to city centre. Our room was very spacious and clean. It had nearly all the amenities you may need but surprisingly there was no coffee maker in the room. Refrigerator only worked when you were in the room and if you were leaving for a long time everything in refrigerator became warm.

the stay was fine, i had things to do in the day so i was not in the hotel the whole time. But every time i entered there was this smell in the lobby i didnt enjoy. i also noticed the shower floor was a little dirty and i had to rince before using. the telephone in the room wasnt working either i had to go down to get water. otherwise the rooms were generally clean and nice for a day or two of stay. the staff had a few people that spoke well English and they helped us very well to check in. if they fix up these minor things, its going to be a much better stay for others.

The property was very convenient to where we needed it. The breakfast was very poor and cold. The staff was always courteous and capable. Although the price was good, I wouldn't return.

We liked Lion City Hotel so much, we stayed there again on our return to Ankara. They held onto our luggage for no extra cost.

Excellent hotel - 4*, reception staff speak very good English "and" they are knowledgeable city guides. Superb location, right in the heart of Kizilay Square, walking distance from the Metro, Buses, and thousands of shops, restaurants, night clubs. Taxi to/from airport is around 450 - 550 TRY. 4th floor very quiet with windows closed. Wifi speed is good. Clean room, large size, large bathroom (usual toiletries), large towels, fridge. There is a 24-hour, free, tea/coffee service (order the strong expresso Turkish coffee, and not the weak Nescafe). We took a 2-day trip from Ankara and they looked after our luggage free of cost. We were to move into our rooms early (well before the usual 2pm). They booked our taxis for early morning flights. Central location means its only 50 TRY taxi to the Ataturk Mausoleum and 70 TRY to Ankara Castle. This hotel is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Everything very good

Very nice hotel. Highly recommend!! Super clean and in the middle of Kizilay. Close to everything. Amazing services and helpful reception. Prices are very affordable around 700 TL per night.

Quite Clean Location

This hotel is perfect, clean, nice staff, and the location is in the center of the city.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and newly remodeled. I also liked the breakfast. Super convenient. For the money it is terrific and will stay again. What I didn't like: rooms are not carpeted, rooms are on the small side, no stands for the suitcase I kept mine on the floor, no safe, and no bedside lamps.

Friendly and helpful staff (reception, bell boys, restaurant)

Room was comfortable, but very noisy - noise coming from neighbouring rooms and from outside on the street, some strange music played loudly all day from 7am until the evening and kept us awake. The toilet had a foul smell, which persisted after cleaning - room generally was clean. Breakfast was not very good. No tea and coffee facilities in the room.
