Wonderful hotel in an amazing city!

Perfect experience for a milestone birthday weekend.

This is an excellent hotel with great amenities and location in downtown Vancouver. Our first stay here, but I doubt it will be our last. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom and a tub as well as a big walk in shower. We did get our upgrade which was free breakfast, but we had to ask for it as it was not related to the hotel. Certainly not their fault. Other than that it’s a great experience staying downtown.

Everyone was very friendly. The room was nice with a great view. Bed was great. Google maps had a hard time finding the place. Would have loved to enjoy it longer but the trans Canada highway was a complete nightmare.

I’ve never had a bad stay at a JW Marriott. Parq was no exception! The staff was warm, helpful and friendly. Check in was quick and easy. The room (King Water View) was roomy and clean. The VIP perks through Expedia was a nice touch.

The hotel and stay was good. There were emails that kept coming from JWMarriott saying that we can indicate if we are arriving early . We showed up around 2:30 and the room wasnt ready. The person who checked us in said they would prioritize making the room ready and email us. At 4 Pm which is the check-in time they still didnt have the room. This is the first time I have experienced a hotel not having a room ready at their announced check-in time. We expressed our disappointment and the guy at the front desk did find another room in 5 minutes of so which he seemed to suggest was an upgrade. In any case, the staff were helpful, but this is very disappointing for a Marriott!

Website promises‘make it your own’ breakfast which for $25 I took to mean breakfast in the restaurant. Instead it is only for in room. With 2 guests and only 2 chairs it means some one has to eat on the floor. Unimpressive for a hi quality hotel. I cancelled the’in room’ poorly advertised nonsense

The staff was incredible! Vancouver hospitality at its best!
