Always like going to Rettendon lodge events. It's friendly, the food is great and lots of choice. Easy to park and in quiet surroundings.

Have always enjoyed staying at Rettendon Lodge, however on this occasion my expectations were exceeded as I stayed in Family room number 1 and it was superb. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in, the room was light and airy and tastefully decorated and everything was clean and tidy.

Check in was very easy, Sophie was very helpful and polite. I can highly recommend this venue, the staff are great and the food is excellent. The hotel room was clean and very comfortable, they even have bottled water in the room, rarity these days. Highly recommended, I’ll be returning when I’m next in the area.

It was nice. We went straight to sleep after a birthday party we attended. We needed a place to stay after event.

All ok, staff seem nice but room and bedding a bit musty. Fine for overnight, no big issues. Good value. Book direct for complimentary breakfast.

Well equipped room , clean and tidy

Wonderful stay. Just what you would want in a traditional British experience. Good chance to walk around and see nature and enjoy some peace and quiet. Excellent food and service in the Pub/Restaurant for both dinner and breakfast.

Was nice and simple however to have a shower was awkward as I’m 6ft tall and I had to shower bent over

The mattress was VERY uncomfortable, food was mediocre. On arrival the room was like a hot house I felt that the dormer windows should have been opened to let the heat out.

Got to the place in the evening due to catching up with friends, greeted by the staff warmly, felt at ease as soon as we got there, sign in was easy and quick, and one of the staff was brilliant even offered to take our bag to our room. The room was gorgeous, nice and spacious with a TV, tea and coffee, and bottles of water. Bath and shower was great. The beds were comfortable and there was extra pillows and a blanket, which we used.

Stayed 1 night for business trip, and it was wonderful. Nice bar, comfortable room, nice food, and very friendly staff. Will be booking again. Thank you
