excellent location if you are staying for conference (front of uni) or need to get a Boat at Danube is good. Breakfast is REALLY good! Gave 4/5 as they could have body lotion also and a better hair dryer.

Modern but fairly basic room. No privacy in bathroom, with no door or shower screen to stop water getting everywhere or provide any privacy from the room - i was alone but if with someone you'd want the ability to close a door. A walk from the town centre.

It would be a fine hotel if not for the weirdest layout of the room. Basically I have never seen a hotel room where toilet was separated from the sink and had no lock! Instead of a lock it had a hole and had to use one towel to close it to keep the smells in. To wash your hands you had to walk through the room to the kitchen area. The shower was also off the kitchen and there was not even a hook anywhere for a towel. Zero privacy in other words. We both found it to be most inconvenient. The front desk lady failed to provide us with the discounted parking ticket, so we ended up paying 30 euros instead of the promised 19. And of course we did not know to ask for it.

I liked the modern style and artwork at the hotel. The staff was helpful when I had a need and the general ambiance was quite nice. There was however limited food resources and although there was a restaurant next door, other than that it was a long walk to any other place except for a campus sandwich shop. The breakfast bar was nice but crowded.

We had a really nice room, quite spacious. But I don’t think it had been used in a while as there was a light film of dust over everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommend the cafe/bar next door - they have excellent burgers!! As well as quite an extensive menu. 2Stein is the name - thanks to the hotel reception for recommending this.

A new, modern style, very nice room, a comfortable bed, very clean. A coffee machine in the room. We had a lovly time. Very nice and good resturant (2Stein) outside the hotel.

We had a great experience at Hotel Krems. They took exceptional care of us.

Safe and clean. Bright and comfortable. The decor looks as if it came from the spacecraft in "2001: A Space Odyssey". Futuristic and efficient layout. A bit quirky. Breakfast was lncluded. Good variety at the buffet. Far from bars and restaurants. Bus stop near the front door.

This is a convenient base for exploring the Danube Valley. The staff was wonderful and the facilities were very good for the price. The breakfast food and space were most enjoyable. The beds are firm.

Really nice, trendy and modern hotel with a gym and lovely breakfast. We would stay here again if we were ever in this area. I recommend it to cyclists doing the Donau valley as a great place to rest and a good base for restaurants in the evening. The staff were also very friendly!

We enjoyed our stay, though we'd prefer a queen size mattress.

Clean room, very modern, but not private. Amazing breakfast. Only open restaurant within 10 min wall (past prison) was pricey and not good.

This is a good, clean functional hotel, with a modern design, at a reasonable price (for Austria at least). It's a little away from the Krems centre - it's on the edge of the Stein area - but this is still only a 10-minute walk away from the main drag. We used it as a base to explore the Wachau and Danube. It has a bike station on the hotel where cycles can be hired for the day. All-in-all I'd recommend it.
