The staff were friendly and helpful. Even though there were three large tour groups, we still felt valued. The room was very nice (although it could have used more light) We had a very enjoyable stay. It was an excellent jump-off point for the Plitvice lakes and waterfalls

Excellent staff, receptionist and restaurant- Lamar is A1. Laxmi is very courteous. Cook staff is very flexible. TV kept conking out, and AC was not on- we were asked to open the window- and we were right above where the tour buses park. Noisy. Especially when the tour bus is full of Chinese tourists- non stop loud noise. Difficult place to stay when the hotel is full of these buses.

Conveniently located to the Plitvice national park, just a 10mins drive away! Kitchen closes late and had a wide variety of delicious food at breakfast. Rooms were spacious although bathroom was a little dated, it was still very functional!

The lighting in that place is atrocious. Why in the world they think dim lights are necessary is beyond me. The restaurant was clean, the staff was so so. They were unable to speak Croatian, and their English was mediocre at best. The food was OK, but the refrigeration in the room did not work, and I ended up having to toss $600 worth of medication.

Property was perfect for our stay before going to the Plitvice National Park. Rooms were comfortable, dining was convenient and the area is very quiet and relaxing.

Our stay at Lyra Hotel was exceptional! Ana at the front desk warmly upgraded our room, adding a special touch. Breakfast was delightful, featuring fantastic local honey. Dinner was equally enjoyable, with Lazaar providing friendly and professional service. A perfect blend of comfort and hospitality—highly recommend!

Everything was nice but the AC didn’t work well in the rooms. Laundry service was great!

The staff is friendly and efficient . Hotel is new and clean and surrounding is beautiful . We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very pleasant. Our waiter Igor was amazing. Buffet breakfast was lacking.
