Quaint and comfortable place to stay. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel, which I really liked. Being able to do laundry during my trip was a big plus. Great location—close to trains and all the main attractions in Kyoto.

I will not leave detailed information but I suggest paying a little more detail to the floors and beds. Other than that, the room was ok.

Walking distance to subway and train and plenty of bus options to get to and from hotel. Very convenient to be able to do in-room laundry.

We really enjoyed our stay here while visiting Kyoto. The hotel concierge were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious enough for two people and I liked that we had a little kitchen area as well as a washer. Train station was nearby and location of hotel itself was central to a lot of the touristy spots we were visiting. Added bonus of having a Yamato luggage service directly across from the hotel (which I did not find out until right before our trip)!! Would definitely stay again when visiting Kyoto!

This hotel was perfect for our stay. The room was clean and came with a kitchenette and washing machine w/ 2 soap pods. The bathroom was more roomy than the other hotels we’ve stayed at. The room temp was adjustable and able to keep up with our needs. The bed and bedding were comfortable providing a good nights sleep. It was close to restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend.

Fantastic hotel in a great location! The room was much larger than expected and all amenities were great. The area is very convenient and we found some of our favourite places to eat very close by.

The staff was helpful with holding our bags prior to check in, and even brought hem to our room for us. The room itself was a bit tight for four, and they had a shelf at forehead height in the walkway area that could have been a bad head bump if you get up in the night to use the bathroom.

Property was about a 10 min walk to a good shopping area. Rooms were very clean, but a bit on the small side if you have large suitcases and use the sofa bed.

Check in at office is far from accommodation. Google map directs you to an alley around the back of office, which is actually on the main road. They manage many Sakura premises. If checking in at the Hotel, make sure you have the right address. Mini bus dropped us at accommodation, this service is drop-off only. Other guests were waiting in foyer on our arrival, but they were booked in to another Sakura premises. On-site staff are only there at very limited times. We booked a family room, which was a good size and included bathroom with bath and shower, bidet toilet, washing machine and drying rack, as well as kitchenette with hot plate, microwave, kettle and small fridge. No large plates and no bowls provided, only cups, glasses and very small plates. No toaster. Dark hairs on floor of bathroom, husband is bald and I have fair hair. Cleaning of rooms is not provided during your stay. Small closet and another hanging area. Only Japanese channels on TV with no subtitles. Slippers were provided as outside footwear not permitted in room. They provide an instruction leaflet for equipment. It would be helpful if they also provide translation for this leaflet. This Hotel is walking distance to shopping and transport, bus or train.

Very good hotel for family with small kids, the room amenities are great, kitchen, washing machine and bathroom dryer are in good condition, recommended!! The bus stop is only 5 steps from the entrance. They have tv in the bath tub, very cool

The apartment was very good, well located, and in a good building. Cons: check in is in another location, and there is no room service (cleaning the room) during the days that we were there. We were not able to activate the electric stove. I suggest to include instructions only for the electric stove. Overall, it is a great place, and the staff at the central location very helpful and kind. thanks

It was a very convenient location, good for the price . Everyone was very polite . The only thing we missed were the Japanese pijamas the other places usually provide ! (I guess because we used an “apartment room” ) other than that it was great .

This company has check-in at a guest centre located a short walk from Kyoto Station where the staff were multi-lingual and very helpful and kind. We were able to leave our bags until check-in and also book a free shuttle service to our accommodation. The room itself and the beds were quite comfortable, and having a washing machine was awesome. This location in particular is quite close to some great places to eat and its about a 10 minute walk from Shijo station which gets you pretty much anywhere else. Great place to stay!!

The location is very good, room size is small so its better to take family suite for 2+ guests. A kitchenette is available for basic cooking plus a washing machine. Just in front of a bus stop so it's very convenient. Metro is a good 10 min walk. Overall good stay, staff were accommodating and nice. Would suggest to provide room cleaning facilities atleast once in 2-3 days. We stayed for 5 nights but no cleaning was provided.
