The hotel room was very outdated. I'd give it a 4 for the 1.1 million Rupiah I paid for a room with two beds for four people. The bathroom door was broken, there were dead bugs in the room, the bed was sloppy, the sheets and blanket were dirty and covered in brown stains. It was very noisy because the upstairs occupants couldn't keep still, always moving around. The sound of running water from the upstairs bathroom could be heard loudly, reaching our room downstairs. The room was like a hotel room from the 1980s. It smelled and was dirty, and the Sanyo was noisy all night, making a nyat nyat nyat nyat nyat sound.
The street in front of the room was dirty; I'm sure it hadn't been swept at all.
When I entered, there were no towels or toiletries. I only had to call from my cell phone to get them.
The receptionist was friendly, but they need to be trained on how to answer office calls by introducing themselves first, not just saying "Hello." After all, that was their personal phone number.
The hotel management is substandard and needs to be replaced with more professional staff.
I booked two rooms with my family. In the end, I was embarrassed because I booked based on the Traveloka rating. Apparently, the Traveloka rating is no longer reliable. I was disappointed several times.
The staff were nice and friendly, but it seems the management or supervisors weren't very good at providing guidance.
