The check in was very smooth and professional, lady at reception was very efficient, even I thought she is at her full term pregnacy. Good job at reception!! This was not the first time I check into this hotel, past visits last few years had been very good. However this time round the room we checked in at room 0926 felt very musty, the aircon was stale, even we tried to lower temp & increase fan speed. As we only stay for a day, decided not to be too fussy to change. Breakfast at cafe was greeted by a very bubbly staff at the entrance, ummm.. thought ok we should give the hotel another chance since greeted with such warm welcome and was looking forward to breakfast Was expecting a freshly brew hot coffee which is so important to start the day, however the waitress served us both a lukewarm cup of dilulate coffe. The food was even a more disappointment, not because of food quality, as I can see very good quality ingredients were used. It is the way the Chef/ Cook at each station does it and the cleanliness at each station that was maintained!! It was a turn off, in particular the hygiene level at Fruit Juicing Stn was terrible, similarly at the Egg & Prata Stn. Eggs were overly done, Good raw steak were pan fried till dry and tough, even though asked for medium done not once but twice, raw steak and sausages and beacon that were place on plates were mixed up. If something is not done for the way the chef are preparing the breakfast at this cafe at each station and maintaining good hygiene, it can be a very turn off for guests in future.
