I was looking for hotels in Karangasem with direct access to the beach for snorkeling then this name came up. The room was just okay for the price. The place wasn't that secluded so if you stay the cottages next to the main road, you'll hear the noise from the street but it was bearable. The staff were very friendly but the cleanliness could be improved. There were few warungs or little dining around the hotel but we decided to have dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel and we were not disappointed. We got grilled mahi mahi fish and crispy squid and we didn't expect it to be so delicious. Then when we found out at the breakfast that they grew and made the food that they serve themselves. The bread, butter, yoghurt, and jam, even the herbs they grew in the front of the restaurant. We could go snorkel in the beach in front of the hotel but when we were going to rent the equipment, the rental guy Pak Ketut offered to take us to the snorkeling spot where we could see the Japanese shipwreck. It took us about 15 minutes in a small fisherman boat that fit 2-4 passengers. To sum up, it was worth the price and would love to stay there again.
