We had a family room and the room was big, but we only had one king bed. I booked for 2 people and 2 kids, and we had to pay extra for an extra bed. I don’t get it because it’s a family room. The swimming pool was too small. The place for breakfast was not big; it should be improved, and the variety of the food was not much. They should have given 2 card keys for a family room.

Very satisfying service and facilities. All the staff are friendly and provide excellent service.

Very nice, strategic location, the best room

It was a very pleasant stay, with friendly and trustworthy staff. I left my bag behind and forgot it, only to be remembered the next night. However, the staff found it without incident. The food was delicious, the pool refreshing, and the room spacious and cool from the moment I entered.

It was pleasant, but it's a shame breakfast can't be delivered to your room. Perhaps this service could be considered. Overall, I liked it. For a reasonable price, I got a spacious room with cool air conditioning.

So far, we've enjoyed our stay at Alana Surabaya. The lobby smells great, check-in and check-out are smooth, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Just a tip: I booked 3 non-smoking rooms, but I found one room (927) to have a less than fresh scent, as if it had been used for smoking. I asked for some freshener, and the staff were very responsive. The smell subsides when the AC is on, but if not, it's still there. The 9th floor hallway smells of cigarettes.

For me personally, perhaps the only thing that needed a little extra caution was the parking area, where the bends were quite tight, a bit confusing/a little dangerous because when going uphill there was the potential to run into vehicles coming down. The room was very clean, nice, and tidy. The downside was perhaps some parts of the floor that seemed to be loose and made a noise when stepped on. It needed a little maintenance. The shower also needed attention because it was starting to become crusty. But overall, I was very satisfied.

Access to motorcycle parking is relatively easy. The hotel is very clean. The hotel staff is also very friendly. Welcome drinks & snacks are also never empty. The room is spacious and clean, very comfortable. The AC remote needs improvement, so that the room temperature can be adjusted. For swimming, I recommend wearing swimming goggles, because in my experience the pool water stings my eyes a little. The sauna room is very cool, the hot steam is very JUOSSS. For breakfast, I was a little disappointed, maybe when it was busy at the same time as there was a wedding event, so when there were a lot of guests, the breakfast room felt cramped and uncomfortable, many menu choices were also empty, there was a slight delay in supply from the kitchen.
