Close to everything, including malls, and especially Gubeng Stadium. No need for a taxi; just walk along Jalan Gubeng Lama.

Breakfast was less than professional. Guests had to wait a long time for refills, and the menu was sparse and lacking in variety.

The sheets were dirty, the towels were torn. The toilet took a long time to flush. The reception was unfriendly. The rest of the service was good and friendly, especially the restaurant and the staff or admin at breakfast. The food was delicious. That's it. This is my honest review.

The room was fully furnished. Clean towels, a refrigerator, slippers, 2 bars of soap, 2 toothbrushes, and shampoo. Luckily, there was a refrigerator, as I brought medicine from the hospital, which was helpful. I stayed overnight for a check-up at Soetomo Hospital. My son enjoyed staying here. If I go to Surabaya again, I'd like to stay here again. I got room 5020, but please pay more attention to the bedsheet, as it had stains and a few tears, and the springs on the bed (the one near the wall) were squeaky, and there's no Wi-Fi in this room 😞

I give it 5 stars, that's all.

The hotel feels dated. The room floors and furniture are dusty. The hot water doesn't work. But it's very close to Gubeng Station 👍🏽…important for travelers taking KAI.

It's cheap, and it's perfectly fine in the city center for that price. However, if you get a room with a train view, it's really lacking, and the room doesn't smell good or look clean.

The staff is very friendly and fast response when we ask for help.

The rooms are spacious, perfect for a family vacation, and what I like most is that they're clean and comfortable. It's close to the city center. Even if you don't eat at the hotel, there are plenty of dining options nearby. Please continue to improve cleanliness and service.

When I go to Surabaya, I always choose this hotel because the price is very friendly and the rooms are very spacious.

I stayed for two nights at the Sahid Surabaya Hotel. Overall, the facilities and service were quite satisfying. I moved rooms on the second day. The room design and interior were different, but the room type seemed to be the same. The first room only had one slipper, while the second had two. The bed was comfortable, and the location was strategic, as I was staying in Surabaya for the "Surabaya Marathon" (5K) running race. It turned out to be very close to the starting line at Plaza Surabaya's East Parking Lot, only 300 meters away. I walked to the race early in the morning to stay fit. On the second night, I was slightly disturbed by noise from the room next door at 10:00 PM WIB, and there were other subtle disturbances throughout my two-night stay. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

We're terribly sorry, but it wasn't check-out time yet. The cleaning staff just barged into our room while we were still sleeping after the event. Check-out time is supposed to be 12:00 PM before the staff can come in to check us in. We chose a superior king room, as it was dark and the wardrobe was also horrendous in shape, making me shiver and scared to stay alone.

Improve service and services

Needs to be improved and more attention paid to providing rooms that match the request in the booking notes.

Got a city view room on the 6th floor. Check-in is only until 2:00 PM, so the queue was long. Early arrivals should have been registered first, and then room cards and electric kettles should be distributed. Overall, it was good.

I have stayed at Hotel Sahid twice, very comfortable.
