The restaurant staff at breakfast were quite friendly (although a bit grumpy), perhaps they were tired... hehe. 1000 points for the customer service and housekeeping staff, who, oh my God, were so honest when I left something behind. Suggestion: "Maybe next time, if a guest leaves something behind, they could inform the guest sooner, as they have their contact information." Overall, a 10,000% recommended place to stay for your cozy, classic, and luxurious accommodations!!!

The best hotel in Solo, Hotel Lana, is fully equipped and comfortable. It's spacious and has a bathtub.

The hotel is quite old but still clean and comfortable.

It was wonderful to stay in this hotel. The location was close to where I wanted to go. I could enjoy car-free day right in front of the hotel. The food was amazing, the room and decorations were amazing. Everything was perfect!

The bathtub drain was stuck closed, trapping water when the shower was used. The bedroom was small. The only thing was the breakfast was enough and fair for the prices.

Great. I keep coming back again and again. It's a shame the pool is deep, so the kids can't swim.

Staff are friendly, but the hotel condition is not in a good one. In room 908, the wardrobe is broken and the condition is dusty. The housekeeping staff is very good when assisting with inquiries. The food during breakfast is also not up to five-star standard and needs more variety.

Everything was fine except that I often heard footsteps and the sound of the emergency door opening and closing, especially since my room was right next to the emergency door. I was quite awakened by these sounds.

The hotel's location is quite strategic, close to the city hall, market, and town square.

Excellent service, from security and front desk agents to room service and the restaurant. Fast and efficient. It's a shame we didn't have time to try the swimming pool and gym.

My first time visiting Solo. Looking for a hotel, I found Royal Surakarta Heritage. My review is divided into several points: 1. Service: - Front desk: Very good, staff friendly and helpful. - Restaurant staff: Not very efficient, inactive. I saw them gathering and chatting near the cashier several times during iftar, when the crowds were very large. When we arrived, we were told that iftar would start at 5 p.m., but when we arrived, the food was ready, but none of the restaurant staff took the initiative to ask us. 2. Facilities: - Swimming pool: clean, unfortunately, the pool is very small and only has a depth of 140 cm. - Hotel corridors: very hot, as if there is no air conditioning outside the rooms, especially on the 5th floor (this is because the staff informed us that the air conditioning on the 5th floor is being upgraded). - Limited activity options, mostly lacking activities for children, making this hotel less kid-friendly. My suggestion is to create a kids' activity program by utilizing the ballroom as a play area when there are no events taking place there. 3. Rooms - Room 511: (+) Very spacious, soft and comfortable mattress. View overlooks the city. (-) The floor is made of vinyl and is very slippery. My child fell three times in the room. The AC didn't work, making the room stuffy and hot. I eventually requested a room change. - Room 927: (+) The AC has been upgraded and is cool. (-) The bumpy mattress surface is no longer suitable for use, causing my body to ache. I should replace the mattress immediately! Too much furniture is not child-friendly due to the texture of the solid wood, which is sharp and prone to bumps. Extra care must be taken regarding children's movement. 4. Food - Breakfast: Varied, quite tasty, and quick refills. There's a coffee machine (latte, cappuccino, chocolate), which is a plus since most hotels have broken machines and aren't repaired. Quality upgrades are needed as they still don't meet 5-star standards.

I even extended my stay because the hotel was so comfortable and great. The location is also super strategic for sightseeing.
