Arriving at the hotel counter at 2 PM, I was told that the check-in time is 3 PM, even without checking whether the room was available or not. I insisted to check if the room was ready, and finally it was. One hour does make a huge difference to the guests after being on the road for more than 3 hours. One hour earlier for the hotel is part of courtesy, unless the room is not ready yet. The narrow bend for the car park is too risky for an SUV or bigger car. Generally clean, but cabinet fitting and toilet bowl cover are loose. The safety box is good enough for a passport and not your laptop. Generally, cleanliness is okay. May not reconsider staying in this hotel again for reasons cited above. There is no grace period of say 30 minutes to cancel the booking if you make a mistake; no excuses allowed. Absolutely not advisable to book under non-cancellation terms.

I had a generally pleasant stay at Grand Swiss-Belhotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, which made it easy to relax. Parking was also plentiful, making it convenient for guests traveling by car. However, I was quite disappointed with the breakfast. It was very basic and did not meet the expectations of a 4-star hotel. There was nothing particularly special or memorable about the selection. Overall, the stay was decent, but improvements in the breakfast quality and variety would greatly enhance the experience.

The staff are friendly, and the place is clean.

The Swissbelhotel chain is quite similar. The lobby is very large and beautiful. The mini children's pool area is better sized, bring a float so you can swim with adults.

It is a cozy place to stay despite the no so tasty meals.

clean room. soft mattress. delicious food and lots of choices. booked deluxe king, but because it was full, could change to premier studio without extra charge. overall nice place to stay.

Always one of my favorite places to stay in Malacca. Clean and spacious room. Food also nice.

I'm quiet disappointed when I entered the hotel room, I would say almost all facilities like towels, sandal, laundry bag are not well prepared ready for use. Example only one towel ,No sandal , no extra pillow . The food during breakfast are far less variety than before during different management. The staff less respect seems no wish they just stood still like doing nothing. The food tastes also not nice and less choice only a few dishes compared to previous owner of the property. Staff are insufficient training in this services line. suggest they should take refresher course. Hopefully they can upgrade their services in future.

overall is ok location & services.But only down breakfast taste not up to 4star standard.Room make up floor carpet not vacum also i suggest floor mat near toilet area.

Nice place to stay for business and holiday. Will definitely go again. Been there since more than 10 years ago.
