This accommodation rental FAR exceeded our expectations. When we first booked this, upon looking at the photo, we had no idea that it was a B & B arrangement. But not just any B & B....this is a luxury B & B. The hosts quickly became like family attending to our every need. We lacked for nothing. Everything prepared by the husband & wife team...all bakery made personally by the hostess Sha. Caring for the pristine rental units (4 small units and a penthouse (shown on the cover photo) all extremely well taken care of by them. The property was immaculate and the inground pool divine!!! We would highly recommend this "gem" to anyone considering visitng the beautiful town of Kalbarri. Our 3 night stay here was perfect to take in the sights...lots to see! Really lovely room. Best sheets & towels (white Sheridan) and king bed we have had for 4 weeks since travelling from Darwin across to Broome then south. Great breakfast included. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed staying at Gecko Lodge. The weekend was noisy with the upstairs rooms crowded with a large group who were very loud speakers, but thankfully it was quiet on Sunday and Monday, making the last day and night of our retreat tranquil. The host customer service was excellent and breakfast wonderful.

Boutique style with only 5 apartments. The room and facilities were excellent with a high standard of products provided.

We had to leave the property less than an hour after we arrived due to an accident at home. I paid for 4 nights no contact has been made to me regarding a refund

The stay was mostly good. The only drawback was there were no hooks near the shower to place a towel etc.

Absolutely loved everything about the property. It was immaculately clean…spotless in fact!! It was very quiet and comfortable. Sha, our host, was lovely…very personable and nothing was too much trouble for her. We arrived to freshly baked muffins and on our second day Sha hand delivered freshly baked carrot cake to our door - amazing!! There was also a selection of chocolates available and complimentary port for an after dinner treat. Breakfast was delicious…fresh fruit, a variety of cereals, multiple coffee and tea choices and a variety of home cooked breads/toast and spreads. Thank you Sha for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. A definite 5 star experience!!

Thoughtfully appointed, spotlessly clean, very comfortable. Sha is an absolutely wonderful host. Breakfast is fresh and substantial. A fantastic balance between generous service and privacy. Plenty to do in and around Kalbarri. The best Australian B&B we’ve ever stayed in. You’d be bonkers to stay anywhere else.

Sha is a very friendly host. Lots of extra treats eg. afternoon tea, chocolates etc. Very good value for the price.
