Considering it's still a 2-star hotel, it's truly excellent in many ways. The only flaw is the soundproofing in the hallway; if you encounter other rude guests arriving at night talking loudly and slamming doors, you'll wake up. The room was very large, the bathroom not very spacious, but the shower was spacious. Hot water was available immediately, with no waiting. The bathroom linens, as were the multicolored pillowcases, but the shower towels were enormous, something I've never seen even in 4-star hotels. All the linens were spotless, scented, and free of holes, mending, or stains. The mattresses were good, the pillows a little less so, but passable. The TV was small but functional. Even the comforter was colorful but very warm. Heating was by radiators that worked 24/7, with the option of a heat pump. I'm sensitive to the cold, so I asked if there was a heater for the shower, and the owner found one for me immediately. The breakfast was well-stocked, with a choice of sweet or savory options. Mrs. Concetta, the owner of the hotel, is a delightful, sweet, helpful, and always discreet person. When she found out it was my birthday, she left me a small heart-shaped cake with a candle. I felt truly pampered. Thank you for everything; we'll definitely be back.
