The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with check-in. There were staff members to help with luggage, and there was a water dispenser for refilling drinking water. It was more than adequate for a backpacking stay.

Honestly, I don't want to put people down, but this is one of my experiences that was very surprising regarding the cleanliness. It was a real shame, there was mold, moss, etc. which in my opinion is not up to the standard of a homestay like that. I hope that in the future the cleanliness will be improved or improvements will be made.
