Nasty Executive Suites in Chapleau, the condition of this motel was shocking and the positive reviews were misleading.
Check in was confusing which was strange because I pre booked online. (Expedia). Untrained staff left alone. She was on speaker phone so I heard the unprofessional exchange. The manager must not of known he was on speaker because he did not talk very nicely to her. Unfortunately before seeing the room I had to pay two nights in advance.
The fabric furniture had mystery spots and stains. The remote was sticky so you had to wash your hands after each use. Masking tape left on walls in every room. There was crusty DNA like substance splatter on our blankets, pretty horrifying.
Stuff left in fridge, coffee grounds spilt in cupboard.
We felt it wise to repack our bags and bring with us when leaving for day trip.
Small restaurant, Large menu. Not the best quality or tasting food. The staff was very nice though.
I would never pay so much money for such a poor experience. I wanted to checkout immediately but it was late and we are young ladies traveling alone. Felt we didn’t have much other options. I hope they can do better in the future.
