Nice old lady who was very worried about the keys when checking out..

We expected something better for the price. The stairwell smelled strongly of cat urine, but on the first floor, the stench was masked by the smell of toilet blocks. The room was relatively clean, with furnishings from the 70s or 80s. The bathroom was also very old and cheap. The bed was acceptable. The terrace is large. No parking at the hotel, so we had to drive about 160 meters to the main building, where breakfast was served, which was acceptable. A very friendly and attentive lady in the breakfast area. The Moselle River is about 100 meters away. Conclusion: We don't have particularly high expectations, but we were very disappointed with the room. It's a shame, we couldn't feel comfortable. We therefore skipped the last night and left early.

A short but unforgettable stay in the Winzerscheune guest house – modern, cozy and innovative! We had the pleasure of spending a night in the winery barn guesthouse and were completely thrilled! Despite the short stay, we were able to fully enjoy the perfect mix of traditional charm and modern comfort. The rooms are furnished with great attention to detail, spotlessly clean and offer everything you need for a relaxing night. The team was extremely friendly and accommodating, so we immediately felt welcome. Despite the short stay, our every wish was met. We can fully recommend the Winzerscheune guest house and look forward to a longer stay next time!

A guesthouse in a small town on the Moselle River. The rooms are clean and cozy. The beds are very comfortable, and everything is newly renovated. The only downside is the noisy bathroom fan, which continued to make noise for 20 minutes after the light was turned off. 😅. But I still recommend it.

We spent a week at the Gasthaus Stein in Valwig… A lovely little guesthouse… We did have to walk about 150 meters to the main building for breakfast, but it didn't matter… The breakfast buffet was always plentiful and fresh… something for everyone… The kitchen staff was a delight; they already knew who we were and what we wanted to drink for breakfast on the second day. A huge thank you and much appreciation 🙏 for the wonderful hospitality!!! A big thank you also to the entire team at the Winzerscheune Stein… Everyone was so attentive and friendly, making our stay as pleasant as possible. Kudos to the chef at the hotel restaurant as well… the food was delicious 😋 Keep up the great work, everyone was fantastic 👍 We'd love to come back! The only thing I have to complain about is the lack of a refrigerator in the rooms! That would have made our stay absolutely perfect. Thank you to all the staff. You're all amazing, keep up the great work 👍
