Firstly, I’ve traveled extensively and never complained about a hotel but this have one was really bad. Hotel staff at front desk unwelcoming and rude. Shockingly poor experience compared with all the other hotels we stayed at in Italy. Our room smelled oppressively like cologne or chemical scent. Clearly they’re masking other smell. It smelled so bad I got an headache and our clothes smelled for hours after only 30 minutes in the room. Also the Bathroom smelled oppressively heavily of cleaning supplies. Stayed in the room 30 minutes and finally just decided to move to another hotel because it was so awful. Even opened windows etc to try to relieve it. Notified front desk and they were not helpful. The staff is under-trained. Aside from all this - the rooms are really small and not worth it, we stayed in better hotels in Venice and paid the same or less. This hotel should be rated much more poorly, ignore the ratings and reviews and safe yourself from this awful experience.

Amazing overall.

Optimal location on the Zattere in the Dorsoduro district. Cozy and comfortable rooms, serviced daily. In-house restaurant and bar. Friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient staff - they consistently made me feel like a valued guest and customer.

Absolutely beautiful, way access via vaporetto and i had a flight out at 6am and the water taxi picked me up right outside the hotel. 100%would stay again!

Our stay at this beautifully decorated hotel in Venice was nothing short of amazing. Great location on Zattere waterfront, in a beautifully restored Palazzo with gardens behind to canal. Friendly welcome at reception and I appreciated early check in. My room was small but stylish and well-designed with a spacious shower room (lovely bathrobe!). Very good, quiet AC. My room was overlooked, but had no privacy screen/curtain/shutters which would be a huge improvement instead of having to close the curtains. Breakfast served in restaurant area or outside in garden - selection from a menu rather than a buffet, service pleasant but slow.
