***READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK*** Overall 3/5 Staff were very friendly and helpful Shuttle from the airport was 130 euros (taxi was 100) Pool is VERY small. Not enough day beds to accommodate guests, so if you don’t get there very early you will not sit by the pool. Room was fine, shower was fine, water pressure was bad. “Private beach club” is a stretch. There is a shuttle that brings you 10 minutes to a public beach where the hotel has a section roped off. It is nice but not a private beach. Breakfast was good. Spa was nice, small, but good services. Again all staff was very friendly and professional including the spa staff who gave us the massages. Drinks/water by the pool or “beach club” were very pricey, about double anywhere else. (Aperol spritz at the pool was 16 euro, and at the bar outside the “beach club” was 7 euro.

Amazing stay at Grand Hotel Cannigione. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel feels very quaint and boutique-like, quiet. Breakfast every morning was great. They have a private shuttle to and a reserved area at a nearby beach which was stunning. Would love to come back again!

Good amenities, excellent food

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon. It is surprising that it has good reviews. Our stay was overall very disappointing. This “5 star” hotel acts more like a 3 star hotel. The beach is a shuttle ride away and they prioritize shuttling their staff over guests. There is no bathroom at the beach and the food is cold by the time it comes from the hotel. We were also looking forward to using the sea deck which we were not informed until we arrived that it is closed for the season. Pool area is crowed with not much sun. Breakfast is always cold and the coffee tastes like instant. And they also expect that you not have any outside food or drink in your overpriced room. Maid service never restocked the room with essentials. Not much positive to say overall.

Whether it was at reception, in the restaurant, or by the pool, the service was consistently flawless. The team anticipated our needs without ever being intrusive, and always greeted us with a smile and sincere kindness. Our room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and offered breathtaking views. The attention to detail throughout the hotel from the thoughtful amenities to the impeccable cleanliness was truly impressive. The food was another highlight. Each meal felt like a special occasion, with fresh, local ingredients and impeccable presentation. Dining here was not just a meal, t was an experience. We left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already dreaming of our return. Grand Hotel Cannigione is a gem in every sense of the word. Beautiful hotel. It was quiet and relaxing but they had odd rules about not bringing outside food or beverages back to the room. Felt a little stuffy but the service was great. The town itself is beautiful and they had a nice private area on a beach with a shuttle that take you back and forth from the hotel.

Grand Hotel Cannigione was a pleasant stay, the location was good and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was enjoyable and a good variety of food.

The hotel was very nice but it needs an update. Maybe mini bars in the rooms and irons. Very friendly staff and good ñocation. The beach area need their own toilets. Beach service great.

Very pleasant property, relaxing stay and attentive staff. However, the area outside our room was not a nice view and they could do more to make it nicer. Also, had to pay for things like fruit juice, eggs or pancakes if you wanted these for breakfast. I think that is wrong

The only downside was the breakfast. The scramble eggs were horrible and cold every day we stayed.

Staff well trained, extremely polite, efficient. Free valet parking. Regular beach to private beach area. Beach service good, Bruno adds charisma to your beach stay. Quiet and incredibly clean. Small town however several restaurants and shops.

We had an amazing time at the Grand Hotel Cannigione in Sardinia, Italy! The rooms were clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious—every meal was a delight. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional service. The staff waited on us hand and foot, going above and beyond to make sure we were completely taken care of. A special thank you to Sabina, who arranged all of our meals for our group of eight with seamless attention to detail. Thanks to her and the rest of the incredible staff, we never wanted for anything. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for top-notch hospitality in a stunning location!

We had an excellent time during our stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The property itself was beautiful and conveniently located within walking distance to the port and several great restaurants. The continental breakfast exceeded our expectations—fresh, tasty, and a perfect start to the day. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

The hotel was lovely and staff were great. However, the drinks and food were very overpriced, plus there was no distinct ‘bar’ so you had to find a member of staff to order a drink. The pool area was lovely but there weren’t many sunbeds and due to the pool being surrounded on all sides by the hotel it was sometimes hard to get a spot in the sun. The private beach was really nice and the half hour shuttle was really useful. Overall, a lovely hotel but just a bit overpriced.

Nice clean hotel with a walking distance to the beach, marina, shops and restaurants. Nice buffet for breakfast and great choices in the restaurant menu.

This is a perfect spot in a sweet little town in Sardinia. Great access to wonderful restaurants, beaches and the marina. It is very well taken care of and the staff are extremely kind and helpful.
