My first time trying a staycation at this hotel.
First impressions: the lobby is very spacious, and there's a welcome drink at the table. You can help yourself, but there are two types (orange juice and infused water). I checked in around 3:30 PM, almost 4:30 PM.
Then I checked in at the front desk.
It was busy at the time, so there was a bit of a wait.
The check-in process was quite quick.
Also, the hotel has a bellboy on standby, so if you're carrying a lot of luggage, there's one on standby to assist you.
For the elevator, you have to use the room access.
There are only three elevators, and the wait can be quite long, but so far, so good, plus the elevator is large and the floor is carpeted.
Moving on to the room.
I booked a Premier King Room, and I had a special request: a non-smoking room on the top floor, and no connecting rooms.
When I arrived, I was given a connecting room. Then I tried calling reception,
They answered that the non-connecting rooms were full.
Then the call ended. I was a bit disappointed because, honestly, I wasn't comfortable with connecting rooms, as it would disrupt my comfort, as I'd had unpleasant experiences with connecting rooms. But I was still curious, so I tried calling again, just in case I got a different answer. And sure enough, I got the same room I wanted.
Haha, it's a bit funny, it only took a few seconds, different receptionists gave different answers, but it's okay, as long as I got the room I requested, as my goal for my staycation here was to find peace and comfort.
Finally, I went back down to change my room key, and the receptionist was already on standby with a new key.
I had wanted to see the name of the receptionist, but the lobby was super busy, so I didn't. Thank you to the receptionist on duty at the time for giving me the room I requested and for being so quick to respond.
I really liked the mattress and pillows, the bathroom, the selection of channels on the TV; everything was super comfortable. I enjoyed my staycation here. Perfect room ever.
