The owner and staff are wonderful they made us feel very welcomed The food and drinks were amazing. Love this hotel

Check in staff were terrible; rude, slow to respond and not concerned with customer service. Room numbering service is odd and confusing. Reception and restaurant was shut down for most of the weekend except for breakfast. Main doors don’t work so you have to walk around to the back door of the hotel after you climb the main stairs to read their small note to search for another door, reception and restaurant was closed all Sunday afternoon and evening. No elevator, lots of stairs. Location is in a residential/industrial area; no restaurants or stores within close walking distance. Owners were polite and competent; some of the hired staff were rude and arrogant when the owners were not present. Breakfast was good, quiet location…but not an ideal hotel for business travel.

Hotel was lovely, rooms were fantastic as I think they had just been renovated. The food was great, we had breakfast each day and dined in the restaurant too. The only downside, and this is not a negative as it’s totally necessary to keep to the high standards they set, was that the downstairs bar was closed for refurbishment. As said, if it improves the place even more then fantastic. We are touring at the moment and doing three nights in each location and to date this has been my favourite. Not just because of the effort the hotel and staff put in to make your stay enjoyable but also the lovely town of Celle. The hotel is about half an hour walk away but the hotel even offer a free bus service if you don’t fancy walking. We didn’t use it but again it’s the attention to detail that mounts up to a great experience. Good work team, this stay will be hard to beat!

Very comfortable hotel in quiet location

Convenient location, excellent service and breakfast.

We booked this Hotel in order to visit family in Celle and we know the area well. Very happy to have selected the Heidekonig as our place to stay. Beds were comfortable and food both breakfast and evening meal, was fresh and very enjoyable. Staff were very friendly however my only negative was that the shower was small.

Clean, Food was quite good.

The room was spacious and very clean, nicely presented. No lift so not suitable for wheelchair users.

Very nice historic type hotel in a quiet and historic part of Celle. Very large rooms by comparative European standards; comfortable furnishings. Excellent breakfast and on site parking. There is a large industrial plant across the street but the facility is set back quite far from the street; so no noise or problems, just not as scenic on that side of the hotel. Easy walking distance to downtown restaurants and stores.

A mini fridge is essential in any room.

Great friendly staff, very clean hotel, food was excellent

ordered and paid for upgraded room with two double beds and one single, and was given a double room, no explanation or refund. Beds not comfortable but Hotel was clean.

For our trip, this hotel was able to accommodate 3 people in one room comfortably.

Location of hotel is good 20 min relaxing walk to downtown with almost no traffic 25 min walk to railway station Good local bus service is available Continental breakfast in the hotel is good Lunch is not available Dinner is available and very good Single room was good size with a efficient small bathroom Very quiet!

Nice room - not too tiny - and friendly staff. Close to the old town.

Litt dårlig beliggenhet men ble positivt overrasket ved ankomst. Store fine rom og utrolig god mat. Kommer gjerne tilbake.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht im Hotel. Alles hat wunderbar geklappt, sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer war sehr sauber, im Bett haben wir sehr gut geschlafen!

Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig. Es waren super bequeme Betten vorhanden. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bushaltestellen sind direkt vor dem Hotel vorhanden, die mit Hilfe der Hotelkarte für kostenlose Busfahrten in das Stadtzentrum (ca. 10min ) genutzt werden konnten.

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold her. Fint tradisjonsrikt hotell med rene store rom. Rolige og trygge omgivelser. Veldig enkelt å parkere (gratis) rett utenfor. Fin restaurant med god mat, og et utrolig hyggelig personale 😊 Vi kommer nok tilbake hit ved neste anledning!
