A few things that weren’t made clear when we booked:
- the on site gym is owned by a separate company and requires an additional payment of EUR10 per visit. The equipment is weights-focused, with only 2 treadmills.
- the ‘spa’ is a large family swimming pool area with tepid jacuzzis and lots of screaming children. This wasn’t a relaxing experience and should be avoided.
- our premium double suite contained two single beds pushed together, which was uncomfortable
- staff were often dismissive when we asked about things, especially when something not directly run by the hotel
- shower was terrible and flooded the adjacent sauna in under 2 minutes
- breakfast food was disappointing, even the ‘premium’ options.
The stay did the job completely - but you could stay locally for a lot cheaper for a similar experience. Nothing about this hotel felt particularly luxurious.
