Had wondferul stay here. The place has a peaceful and authentic Ubud atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The staff are also very kind and always ready to help with anything you need. One thing to note is that the access to the hotel can be a bit tricky if you’re coming by car, but once you arrive, the calm surroundings and overall comfort definitely make it worth it. It’s also worth the price.

When in Ubud, I chose to stay at Kandarpa for 3D2N—and it was worth every penny! I really loved staying here. The hotel is very beautiful, even though it only has two floors. But don’t worry if you bring heavy or lots of luggage—the staff will happily help carry it to your room. All the staff were super friendly, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and fast. I booked the breakfast package and it was tasty, with a reasonable price and good portion. However, the access to the hotel is a bit tricky. The road is quite narrow and at night it’s poorly lit, so I recommend not checking in too late in the evening. But overall, I truly loved my stay here! Highly recommended :)

NOT CHSE certified bcs not clean, So we saw somebody SMOKING IN THE KITCHEN while waiting for our food. We ordered room service and chicken was raw, found out in the middle of eating and the staff’s response was “do you want us to recook the chicken?” After all they did changed the chicken but it can’t be looking worse. Unappetizingly worse, we can’t eat our dinner, bad service, worse food. Room was damp, staff was ok but somehow not really friendly.

The room is nice and spacious, direct access to the swimming pool. The bathroom is clean and well-maintained. Suitable for a staycation. The access at night is lacking in lights, if the driver is not familiar with the terrain, he might miss it when going to the hotel.

Very comfy and nice, I love the ambiance and all the staff are nice and polite. Definitely will be back 😁

It is more appropriate to be called a Guest house, not a 3-star hotel. The towels are old and not clean white. The mattress is not comfortable, not soft like hotel standards. The walls of the room and bathroom are cement without paint so they look dirty and moldy, there are many dirty spots on the glass, sink shelves. The location is in a narrow alley but still comfortable because of the natural feel.

Very nice place, good food, clean and good room quality. The location is a bit hidden, so make sure to follow the right way.

Usually when I travel I never stay in a guesthouse for more than 2 days, this Kandarpa is amazing, quiet and the food is delicious, thank you Kandarpa, it's worth the queue if you want to stay here ♥️

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Very disappointed in google picture showing like beautiful but in real view very different dirty. Please don't choose the hotel. No worth for money

The hotel is comfortable, really homely. Suitable for families. Very healing place. It's just a shame that the road to enter the hotel is very muddy and very bumpy. And in my opinion it can only be 1 car + 1 bike. It's scary when a car hits it too. Wanting to walk out onto the main road is really too lazy even though on the maps it looks close. Hopefully the road will be paved next time!

The street near the hotel still needs to be repaired. But, the room is so nice, clean, good weather, the swimming pool is clean, the foods are delicious and affordable, all staff are so kind. The dog and cat is one of the reasons I will miss this hotel so much. I would be back to this hotel.
