The property need maintenance.

The Resort Y Golf Club Paraguayo was a decent stay. The property is spacious and the staff were always eager to help. The rooms were clean, breakfast was decent and it was overall a pleasant stay. The property is a bit dated and they are currently doing renovations. They can also use more English speaking staff at the front desk if they want to appeal more to North American English speaking travelers.

Completely outdated, waited more than 15 minutes for a pool towel, pool area is dirty, hallways look unsafe structurally, expensive and low quality food to purchase, at least 20 bugs in my room. At least, the bed was comfortable. I would not go back and I would never recommend that hotel to anyone.

This is a Hotel over 30 years old, the rooms are nice and clean, the food provided was excellent and the staff was very helpful, my only concern was the very poor Wiffi at times there was no internet for hours on end making our stay difficult for our need to stay online. Expedia should adbised clients of this issue when making a reservation. Apart from that the Hotel is very nice with plenty activitess on offer

No outlets for my laptop. Could not charge my electronics

It is a really nice place, and when you walk around the area you see all the nicest homes in Asuncion. Tennis, squash, pools, spa etc. Only downside is it is a bit far away from other amenities in the city, such as restaurants, coffee bars, etc.

The hotel is aged, but carries it very well. Rooms with river view are amazing! Food is good as well, and the facilities (pool, golf course, etc) are very good. Service is a bit hit and miss—some times excellent, some times terrible. Still worth it for a weekend escape!

The hotel is good, it used to be wonderful. The room is big, the bed a little hard for me. They have two beg swimming pool but in this stay they didnt’ have many peoople working there and they offer just few products . I hope in few day they can get more peoople working in the hotel. Their price are very high also comparing the produts that they offert. The beaksfast is very good.

Third stay here, and this time, just okay. Staff friendly, but not very prompt, except for Basilio who was very helpful at arrival. Room wasn't cleaned for a day (and probably two days if I hadn't complained, wondering if they forgot I was there for 11 days). A/C went out my last night there with temp in the 90's and humidity about 150%! Pool areas (@ Yacht Club & Veranda) needed cleaning. Dinner, however, at Salon Verde restaurant was excellent!

Nice sunsets, nice pool. Very large hotel, you can walk around. "River beach" is nice

If you expect to rest on your vacations forget about this hotel, i stay last weekend , the party start at 8am, well i have to visit some places anyway, but when the music get louder at 10 pm and keep that way untill 4am in the morning its not good.

We came expecting a very nice hotel but the hotel is pretty old, rude staff and the internet does not work unless you go to the lobby of the hotel where you see 50 people trying to get connection to talk to their families,friends and watch movies on Netflix,etc. The hotel is very far from absolutely everything and the food is expensive and very low quality. The room was not very clean and due to the fact that the hotel is next to the river, there are a million mosquitoes . If you are afraid of dengue or Zika virus stay as far way for this property as you can . There are many better hotels in Asuncion for the same price .

Though a little far from tourist destinations like downtown or shooing and nightlife districts, it's perfect for a quiet getaway. Whether it's for sports, work or just relaxation. Friendly and professional staff.

Hotel was nice and clean and service was very good as well. Staff is very polite and welcoming! The resort overall is great with nice places to dine, outside activities and beautiful nature as well! The only negative was no HD tv.

Great place to stay for playing golf and tennis in Asuncion. Golf course seemed quite quiet. Must be about 20 excellent tennis courts. These activities are free to hotel residents, and just across the road from the hotel. My room had great panoramic over Rio Paraguay and across to Argentina.

The hotel was really not what you see in the pictures.. the service overall was really bad.. I would never go back

When I arrive tired late that day they had no room for me. I had to stay in some kind of apartment with no internet or facilities. Terrible. When I got a room the next day the hotel is very good.
