Beautiful hotel in Le Morne. Building is new and in very good condition. The staff was amazing every time, from checkin to breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar service. Pools are nice and there are plenty of sunbeds around, in case the ocean is not welcoming. Food was very good, with plenty of choices. The RIU app is not the best, but that’s not something this hotel can fix.

We went on our honeymoon trip here, and we had the most amazing time! Everyone was super nice and friendly. The hotels taxis service was fantastic! We were able to see places on the island we wanted to at our own pace, with a private driver. Absolutely worth it.

My experience at the Riu Palace was exceptional. The staff were consistently warm and welcoming, and the bartenders in particular went out of their way to remember guests’ preferred drinks, which added a personal touch to the service. The food was enjoyable, and I appreciated the flexibility of being able to explore both sides of the resort. I occasionally visited the buffet on the all-ages side before returning to the adults-only area for another meal. It’s worth noting that the main restaurants operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so guests should plan accordingly. Overall, I had a phenomenal stay. However, I did encounter one unfortunate incident. On the day of a late excursion, housekeeping attempted to clean my room in the morning, but I had chosen to sleep in and asked them to return later. I left the room around 5:30 p.m., and upon returning at 7:30 p.m., I found the room had not been serviced. I contacted the front desk, and although I felt uncomfortable requesting cleaning around 8 p.m., I had already placed the used linens on the floor and hoped to have fresh ones upon my return. Regrettably, I made the mistake of leaving a bag with cash on the dresser rather than securing it in the safe. The next morning, I noticed approximately 6,000 rupees (about $132 USD) were missing. I did not report the incident to the front desk, as I acknowledged it was my responsibility to use the safe. For future travellers , I strongly recommend securing all valuables.

We stayed in an elite club room, whish i would say to anyone reading this, DO NOT WASTE THE EXTRA MONEY. This is not an elute experience, you do NOT get premier drinks in the room, No Gin, No JD, and if you ask your told its not possible, its only available at the one bar in the whole hotel Not all the restaurants stated are open all of the time, there only open every other day, of which you have to book on an App, and can only do so 48hrs in advance, and is limited to numbers. There are 2 other restaurants which people queue for, for an hour to get into!! Its really a 3star hotel trying to be a 4 star..i would have uploaded some pictures but the app wont let me.

Lovely resort with horrible food. All inclusive but the Buffett was truly below prison grade food.

The location is nice and the amenities are beautiful. The staff is very nice. However, the food and drinks range from very limited to inedible. We stayed for 3 nights. There are 4 restaurants, only 2 of which are open daily, plus the buffet. The breakfast buffet is good, lunch is edible, dinner is inedible. You need reservations at 2 of the places, 2 are first come. We went to 1 reservation spot (thank you to the manager who got us a reservation- they were booked the entire time we were there) and the steakhouse. Both were fine enough. Wine selection is terrible unless you pay extra. Again, property is beautiful! So I would only recommend if you don’t like to eat or drink.

Clean, modern facilities in a beautiful location. The food was great. The restaurant booking system could be easier for guests to get the reservations they want

Staff were amazing and really nice. The bar staff really love what they do and I loved their creativity on their drinks. Room and property were very clean. It’s a safe neighborhood to walk around and explore le morne. I had a great time and it will definitely be missed

The people that work here is the best staff you can have, but the resort is a bit of from the rest. Not much to do around, only sun and swim. Beach is a bit rocky.

Just the right amount of chill and optional activities. Only just over an hour from the airport. Beautiful sightseeing nearby and watersports. Very attentive staff. Great food and drink selection. Adults only was so worth it but still access to Turquoise hotel if needed. We didn't upgrade our room/view or pay for Elite but it was still lovely. Beach on the doorstep.

We went to the Riu Palace for our anniversary after being on Safari for a week in South Africa Feb 2025 We have stayed at Riu's in the past primarily in Mexico this is nothing like the Riu's in Mexico 1. Staff- they are not engaging at all it almost seems as you are an inconvenience to them with the exception of the bar Manager in the Lobby bar and the gentlemen working at the coffee bar in the lobby who were pleasant 2. The food was not good primarily heavy curry dishes which are ok but not twice a day for lunch and dinner , the a la cartes were impossible to get into the app didn't work went to the front desk to ask them with zero help we were able to sneak into the asian a la carte one evening the meal there was good but as for the buffet it is no where near the selection you would get if you were at an all inclusive in other destinations. 3 Entertainment- Pretty dull not what you would expect from a Riu which always puts on amazing theme parties etc the vibe at this resort was not very up beat much like the staff 4. THE POOL SUCKS the pool is heated but the weather was 35 degrees Celsius so the pool was not refreshing it was like getting in the hot tub. There is no pool side drink service so you have to walk over to the bar to get drinks when you want one not a huge deal but again for an all inclusive this should be standard Would save your money and book somewhere else we did the Maldives in 2023 and wish we would have went back there.

This place is absolute paradise...i cant fault it. Service is top notch, clean, welcoming and All inclusive indeed. We had a blast

We had a wonderful time here for our honeymoon. The hotel and the views are stunning. The staff are so kind and can’t do enough for you. All the food is wonderful. Right on a white sandy beach. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel has been recently renovated and it has great facilities. The rooms are spacious and equipped with proper modern furniture and appliances. The territory is huge and green, and it is taken care of very well. There are plenty of pools, and the beach is very spacious. The service is excellent - all the staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and happy to assist. The variety of food in the main restaurant is great and everything is fresh and delicious. A la carte restaurants (tried 4 of them) were absolutely amazing!

We had a wonderful 10 night stay at the hotel with the Junor Suites Elite Club service. The promises made in the preliminary description of the hotel and services were fully fulfilled. Very kind and professional staff, excellent restaurant service, great, comfortable and clean rooms. The pools, garden and beach are well maintained. As a regular and frequent traveler (more than 50 hotels), I don't know what to make of the blind, negative reviews I've read before. Maybe they weren't even in this hotel?! Perfect, great place, I dare to recommend it to everyone. Alexander Hungary
