Our stay at Meliá Beach Punta Cana was utterly disappointing, and I feel compelled to share our experience. We paid a premium for what was promoted as a relaxing getaway, but instead, we encountered a multitude of issues—from malfunctioning key cards to insufficient communication about how these concerns would be resolved. Despite bringing our grievances to management, no action was taken to address them. It's unacceptable for a brand with a reputation for quality to fall so short of its promises.
On our final day, we suffered food poisoning from the meals served, which is inexcusable. The food and drinks were subpar, the rooms were outdated, and the service was inconsistent. Having visited numerous wellness hotels, I can confidently say this resort failed to deliver on its promises, creating more stress than relaxation. Reaching out to their customer service department proved to be a waste of time, as they did nothing to rectify the situation.
I strongly advise you to consider alternate accommodations if you value your vacation. Don’t make the same mistake we did, your money is better spent elsewhere.
