Great place. Many don’t speak English. And it’s tough at times. But overall a great.

This is my third time staying at Carmel Taiba. And always surprises me with the excellent service. Danilo, the chef, was very attentive to my allergies. The décor for Valentine’s Day was incredible!! I love everything about this resort. Great experience with excellent service!

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Carmel Tabia Exclusive Resort. The staff did everything to make our stay enjoyable, we felt the care they took to make our honeymoon special meant the most to us. The highlight of our stay was a beach dinner with roasted snapper over coconut shells. We enjoyed every amenity they had available. We highly recommend the spa and gym during your visit. We want to thank Daniel for being an exceptional host and everyone on the Carmel Tabia Exclusive staff.

On the positive side, the views from the pool are astonishing and the architectural design of the property is impressive. The spa is well equipped and the therapists are competent. The bed linen is of high quality and the staff in general tries hard to make you feel comfortable. For the price they charge that’s all kind of expected though in my view. On the negative side, service is a bit sloppy. As an example they offered us a butler service to unpack our bags and organize clothes. We accepted it but they never delivered it. We complained about a foul smell in the bathroom a few times but they never managed to fix it. The food in the restaurant is not what’s expected from a 5 star hotel especially at the prices they charge. The chef seems to really love bell peppers and coriander and can’t manage to prepare dishes without these ingredients unless one requests it one day in advance. The very humble next door restaurant (Saravah) manages to prepare any dish to anyone’s taste at a fraction of the price. Lastly, the area around the property is a bit rough. There are very limited restaurant options, it feels a bit unsafe and there is no beach service.

The hotel is very sophisticated but the food is price for something simple and if you try to order the dinners experience with the fish make sure they show the size of it. Around the hotel don’t have much to do and only 4 options of places to go if wanna it something outside. Good options of wine 😉 But the place is nice to stay 3 or 4 days maximum after that nothing to do 😬

Beautiful property.! Staff is friendly and attentive to detail. The seafood menu excellent. All and all a great stay.

Incomparable architecture, one of the best hotels in the world.

Tudo perfeito. Quarto incrível, comida boa, hotel lindo e localização mto boa. Praia bem próxima que dá banho. Dica: levem seu próprio vinho e paguem a taxa da rolha pois os valores dos vinhos são bem abusivos.

Péssimo , caro para o que propõe. Com exceção do quarto e massagem, o resto era terrível. O atendimento e terrível, não há manutenção na parte externa do hotel, COMIDA DE PÉSSIMA QUALIDADE, enfim , não recomendo. Com o que foi investido iria para o Belmond de Cataratas ou o Copacabana Palace.

Instalações: excelente! Academia impecavel e bem equipada. Quartos amplos e organizados, piscina incrível bem como a parte da Sauna. Além de tudo imponente, uma paz grande. Restaurante Cipó: Cardapio extenso e com opcão pra tudo e todos, tudo de extrema qualidade. Café da Manhã: Excepcional, igualmente cheio de opçoes e tudo de extremo cuidado e gosto. Funcionários: Outro ponto alto do Hotel. Todos, sem exceção, são muito prestativos, cordiais, bem treinados e muito simpáticos! Mas em especial os que mais nos atenderam, Victor e Helena (manhã) e Mayra (noite). O Que poderia Melhorar: Iluminação no geral. Das instalações e principalmente do quarto. Faz parte do estilo da decoração do hotel, mas me pareceu tudo um pouco escuro. Restaurante Pau a Pique: Comparando com todo restante, fica um pouco abaixo em experiência. Comida é ótima mas meio “frio”. Atividades: Embora o hotel seja todo excelente, para um hotel de praia e nesse nível, recomendaria que tivesse mais atividades (fora as pagas por fora) para entreter e aproximar os hospedes. Mais musica ao vivo, eventos na lareira da piscina (que é maravilhosa e pouco explorada etc). Isso traria mais “alma” a uma hospedagem de hotel de praia. Foi o que sentimos falta. Praia de Taíba: Embora na frente e beira mar, a praia não é 100% convidativa para um “entra e sai” do hotel > Praia. Mas no geral, tudo impecável e recomendado!

Muito agradável e aconchegante

Estive no hotel 3 anos atras e achei que principalmente os cuidados com a area comun despencaram. Espelhos de agua extremamente sujos, folhas por todo lado, jardim mal cuidado. Cordialidade dos funcionarios na piscina principalmente mudou muito.

Foi tudo perfeito , da acomodação ao Staff … Tudo maravilhoso na nossa estadia.
