Excellent- best way to start a holiday - exceptional property. Just be mindful if you have luggage you need to carry up stairs as there is no lift and definitely not for people with disabilities.

We loved our room, location, history of the house, little restaurant, manger, wait staff. We stayed 4 days and this is where we would stay again.

Immaculately clean in a beautiful building.. You must check the calendar though because if there’s any kind of celebration going on, you will not get to sleep..

Right in the heart of things. Had no contact with owners which was fine by us and spoke to cleaner a couple of times. Cleaner did our room every day. Place is spotless. Will definitely stay again.

I've traveled through Europe extensively and it's tricky to find an affordable accommodation that lives up to American standards, this one did. The self check in caught me a little off guard, and I always either had an issue with the key or keypad, and the layout of the place was a little confusing, but the accommodation itself was lovely. True boutique hotel, and the little display of local photographs and artifacts they had made it seem more like a historic estate than a hotel. Room was beautiful and bathroom facilities were excellent. The property is located on a staircase so there is no traffic noise and it's within walking distance from the bus station and main attractions. Check-in time was at 3:00, but they let us in early, which we were grateful for, as we didn't wanna carry our stuff through town. It would have been nice though if staff was more available and there was a little bit of confusion during check out. Aside from that, I have nothing bad to say about this place. Great place to relax. I will suggest, if you are arriving by taxi, to ask the driver to drop you off on Melita St, as this is the closest access point to the property.

It was a very convenient clean place to stay in Valetta. The property is a series of rooms without food or other facilities. I would certainly recommend this property.

A beautiful, ancient, small property. Very noisy. Needs soundproofing. Even noisier on Saturday night from their bar. Electricity went out several times for hours. No TV or fridge and very little space. The A/C did not function correctly. You had your choice of on or off (hot or cold), at least if the electricity was working. But the hotel was beautifully decorated. Also no elevator. Good Valletta location.

Super charming and full of character. The lady and her son are friendly. They recently renovated a lot of work and love was poured into modernizing the rooms. The floors are a gorgeous ceramic that imitates wood lattes. Easy entry with pin pad. Safe and my goodness it’s definitely the best placed hotel. Walkable to everything within minutes. We had the Toni room with private bathroom located across the hall. Bathroom doesn’t have AC but that doesn’t bother us. Lots of stairs so rooms 7 and 8 are probably not for the less mobile folk. We only packed carry on suitcases so we didn’t feel it was too cramped but anyone bringing a huge luggage might find it a tight spot in room 7. All in all a fantastic place great bang for your buck. Would definitely recommend

Excellent location for exploring Valleta on foot and just a few minutes from the city main bus station. Nicely decorated building and also the room, enough space to hang our clothes. No need for plug adapter as sockets have usb options. Bathroom across the hall was spacey, clean and with a window. Three of the rooms are on what seems to be the fifth floor, no elevator (no problem for us but can be for some). Would stay again.

A slight confusion at the start with the door entry system but maybe due to my iPhone. Not quite sure. You can’t drive directly to the hotel due to location, so be prepared to climb a few steps. Rooms are very grand, really good facilities and close to the heart of Valletta.

We stayed in a few different places on our 10 day trip across Malta and Casa Asti was our favorite! The building and interior has so much character. Everything is wonderfully decorated and really gives you a true Maltese vibe while at the same time, the rooms are very modern and don't lack a thing. Rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean! Haven't even seen this level of cleanliness in some more expensive and "fancy" hotels. Even though we didn't personally meet Jeanelle, the owner, we were in touch via WhatsApp. She is very friendly and always there to help. Responds very fast. The location is also perfect! We're definitively recommending Casa Asti to anyone planning to visit Valletta!

We loved Casa Asti; the warm welcome, the great location, the beautiful historical building, the generous breakfasts and most of all the lovely Annie who runs it with such pride and dedication.

The positives are the guest house Is in a fantastic location in the heart of the old town. Secondly it’s got a lot of character and well decorated. Unfortunately our stay was very disappointing however. The first night we stayed in a twin room with shared bathroom. This room was fine - apart from the next door guests shouting and arguing outside iur door after midnight (I know that’s not the hotels fault!). But really poor sound proofing. So then for the second night we book an en suite which cost £22 more. Unfortunately the shower was cold on every use. The toilet didn’t work so we had to flush manually using a bucket we’d filll up with water from a tap - and the staff knew this but didn’t even bother to apologise! Thirdly a woman that worked there knocked proudly and demanded to see pur taps iour room, when I wasn’t even dressed to ask if we had left our taps on as water running in pipes- with no apologies for being so blunt with her manner. It was a real shame as the reviews had been generally good on this property. Breakfast ok but nothing special. I think the guest house is over priced for the service we had.
