Unfortunately my stay at Urban Lifestyles Guest House was a complete disappointment. The door into the room could not be locked from the outside and had to be changed. There was no hot water (afternoon, evening nor early morning) and I was told that it is to be expected due to the electricity outages in Zimbabwe; yet other properties within the same area had solar geysers. Sleeping was near impossible - loud noises and conversations at reception in the early hours of the morning.

Only one towel in our room (for two people), no soap, lots of mold in the bathroom, staff were playing music on their phone at 11pm at night keeping us awake, breakfast was very poor (toast was cold, only offered scrambled eggs with no other choices e.g. fried, boiled etc. which suggests they are using egg powder mixed with water). Only had a strange tasting instant coffee. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. Strongly recommend to try somewhere else instead.

Die Unterkunft war gut gelegen. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Betreuung wärend des Aufenthaltes. Tolles Frühstück! Wir waren begeistert.

Sehr gut. Fühlten uns wohl, werden gerne wieder kommen.
