My room was at the back building with very limited view. I thought that this was a “lake view” hotel. Breakfast was OK. Overall, this is not a 4 star hotel as advertised if you stay at the building at the back.

Good location and the restaurant on the roof was fabulous. The room had peeling paint and plaster and the bed was the worst we’ve experienced on our 5 week trip .

Could have been a nice hotel but the smoke and loud music was a disaster. They said the hotel was non-smoking but we left after two nights because of the smoke (had planned to stay 4 or 5 nights. Hallway outside our room was so strong with smoke we could hardly get in/out of our room without holding our breath. Could not eat in the restaurant because it was full of smoke. When we took breakfast to the lobby to eat - where there was a NO-SMOKING sign, a staff member came in, stood at the reception desk in front of the sign and started smoking. We told them we were checking out and left. Big Joke: when we tried to escape the smoke and have refreshments at their table on sidewalk in front of hotel, we were told only TWO people could sit at the table because the chairs could not cross the yellow line. Unless you love to be assaulted by smoke, would suggest you never consider staying at this hotel. At night music was so loud from restaurant up to 3rd floor our walls were nearly vibrating until 1-1:30 AM

A bit of an older room but the view was fantastic. A lovely few days in a beautiful area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the hotel and ohrid as a destination. Value for money and some.

Only three star because of the personel in the breakfast area are so unfriendly. They look like and act like they don't want to be there. Also breakfast had the same menu every day.

Wonderful room on the 3rd floor with huge balcony and a view of the lake and beyond. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good, plenty to choose from. No toaster for the bread ? We ate at the rooftop restaurant which was ok but the stand out was our lovely waiter who did an excellent job looking after a full restaurant.

Lady checking peoples rooms for breakfast was rude. Made a rude comment nobody knows there room number.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Su Ohrid and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel's beachfront location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the water and a clean, well-maintained park area surrounding the property. The fact that parking was included was also a huge plus for me. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast that was served each morning. It was top-notch, with a wide variety of options to choose from and everything was fresh and tasty. I definitely give the breakfast two thumbs up! As a pet owner, I was thrilled to discover that Hotel Su Ohrid is pet-friendly. My dog was able to stay in the room with me and the staff made sure that he was safe and comfortable during our stay. I did encounter an issue with the AC on the first night, but the staff were incredibly kind and did everything they could to try and fix it. Ultimately, we found that the nights in Ohrid are pleasantly cool and it was actually better to have the windows open than the AC on. The next day, the AC was promptly fixed. I initially booked the hotel for just one night, but I was so impressed with my stay that I ended up extending it for two more nights. I highly recommend Hotel Su Ohrid to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Ohrid. The beachfront location, excellent breakfast, pet-friendly policy, and accommodating staff make it a standout choice for accommodations in the area.

Su Hotel added a special touch to our trip to Ohrid. We really enjoyed our stay, although the bathrooms were a bit small. The breakfast was excellent. I especially want to thank Alexandra at the reception for helping me with parking. It is a beautiful hotel by the lake, and I highly recommend it to families.

Management should be ashamed to rent Room 302 last night. It is a west facing room with wide windows. When we arrived the room was measuring 29 degrees on the a/c thermometer. The A/c did not work (shut down until summer), so I was told to open the windows to get some breeze and it would cool off when the sum went down. The problem was that this helped some for cooling, but the room was blindingly bright to the point of being unusable. NOT GOOD, but that was only the first half of the issues. We go to bed early (9PM) when travelling, then at around 10:30 PM we were awaken by a very loud band directly under our window. We closed the windows but still is was so loud neither my wife or I could sleep. I was told nothing could be done. We were awake until 12:50 AM when the band and party stopped. In the morning, I was told that that was the way it was on Friday and Saturday nights. I will be filing a "DO NOT PAY" with my credit card because they did not fulfil what they promised - they did not seem to be to apologetic.

Friendly and helpful

Booked for the view of the lake from the balcony. And it was well worth it. What a spot. BUT like others I have to report the bar noise was intrusive (and people shouting until the early hours) and noise from our room neighbours was bad given very poor insulation. SCraping charis upstairs not good either. Breakfast very patchy, not a fan of the stone cold eggs guys. Can't put them out at 7 am and leave them until 10am. Dinner at the rooftop restaurant was very average too - better to go down the road. How hard is it to do decent chips? Special mention to the receptionist doing check in, friendliest welcome in all our trip in Macedonia! But you really can't beat that view

SU Hotel is in the best location in Ohrid and has a wonderful bar and restaurant. The hotel room is simple and dated, but clean and with a great view of the lake or the mountains. This is the perfect hotel if you want to be on the lake and around the main street of Ohrid.

Excellent location. Stayed in the Superior Room with a view of the lake - gorgeous view and loved the balcony. The hotel common areas were decorated nicely for Christmas. However, the evening music was extremely loud and did not make for a restful stay. Great place to stay if you want to stay up late and partake in the music and bar scene on site; but not a great location if you go to bed earlier and want a restful stay. Unfortunately that is why I am giving the hotel a lower rating

Okay I stayed at SU from July 30th -August 10th (we extended out trip). Me and my friend has the most beautiful experience at this hotel from the amazing food to the cocktails and the superior customer service from the wait staff and the hotel staff they made us feel like family which with it being our first time in Europe meant the absolute world to us. Also, AMAZING ENTERTAINMENT!!! I truly don't have one complaint. Managment went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. I even booked for next year. I can't wait to visit SU again.

Great location -- quiet but convenient. Easy walk to the old city and main attraction without hastle of looking for parking etc.
