Very nice hotel

We booked this on our return journey from SW France to Calais. Everything was fine. The family who own the hotel were lovely. We couldn’t get in to any of the local restaurants/didn’t have the right attire to so the hotel saved us with their food options. Limited but very delicious. The breakfast is expensive but we had a long day ahead so chose to grab breakfast there rather than try and track it down on a Sunday. You need to drive into town really. It might be difficult to walk. If you don’t like dogs this is not the hotel for you as everyone staying seemed to have one apart from us!

Very clean welcoming place. Everything was great. Clean environment and friendly staffs. Pool was wonderful. We really had a great relaxing time.

VERY NICE PLACE

Clean spacious room with a few quirks - no stall around the shower, the drain is in the middle of the floor, and no room darkening shades. Overall I feel the property is overrated. It's a nice comfortable hotel on a quiet French byway. It's not, however, one of the Loire Valley's truly special hotels that would merit a 10/10.

This place was an unexpected surprise. And I mean the good kind. Very clean. Brand new everything. Super friendly staff.

Wonderful opportunity to stay on the island. Hotel is very clean. Small but has everything needed. Room was a little warm.

Very pleasant hotel, spotlessly clean, lovely location near the banks of the Loire. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. The only downside was the air conditioning unit in our room, which was noisy, so we had to turn it off. Luckily the temperature meant this wasn't a problem.

Very clean and organized. I even thought the property was brand new, though it has few years. Looks brand new. Nice bed, nice shower, rooms small, but still could fit an additional bed for a kid. Good breakfast if you like french style, quite complete. Would recommend.

The owners were super friendly and helpful. Great location, near to Chateau’s, wine farms and bike/running paths.

Family run modern hotel located just 10 minutes from the wonderful Chateau de Chambord. Charming team. Very clean and comfortable room. Secure parking on site. Modest restaurant facilities for dinner and breakfast but other restaurants are within a 5 minute drive. Ideal for an overnight stop en route from north to south or for a visit to Chambord. Probably not the place to base yourself for a longer stay in the Loire if seeking a more traditional French experience.

unique family-owned boutique hotel with perfection in EVERY detail. (3 star that is actually better than many 5 stars). the service and the hospitality are just outstanding. the staff was extremely helpful in recommending and booking amazing places to sightsee and to eat around. location is outstanding. can't wait to return.
