We stayed there for one night and we're impressed by the professionalism of the staff. The staff was very accommodating about special request made to them. The hotel is located few steps from the main attractions in the city including train station.

Room was decent if a little dated. Breakfast buffet was poor with little selection. Rubber scrambled eggs and cheap ham. Tables were dirty and had to find own cutlery.

Didn't like there was no coffee pot or available filtered water unless you went and got it yourself! The breakfast was not as we had hoped for. The young man at the front desk was very helpful! Nice spacious room with baloney overlooking the stream.

Kudos to the staff who made us feel warm and welcomed!!! Our train was late arriving and they stayed late to welcome us and take our luggage to our room; all with enthusiasm and warmth!! The room was updated big spacious with a view to die for. A big draw for me was the king size bed. In other countries it is so hard to find accommodations that offer a king size bed; it was so comfy!!! We sprung for a balcony overlooking the mountains/running river and we are soooooo glad we did!!! To wake up two separate mornings with this in the back drop was such a blessing!!! I thank God for this location, staff, the cleanliness of our room, the hotel, the breakfast presentation, and the unique character of Ollantaytambo which I love to say!! They are constantly working on upgrading the amenities of their hotel but they do it so discreetly you do not hear them and they almost make themselves invisible as not to disturb your visit. I have never experienced that before. Kudos!!! Blessings to all of you and thank you for helping My Husband and I make this one of many trips of a lifetime!!!

Wonderful location! Stayed one night before catching the train to MP. The hotel is the middle of everything, great spot. Check-in was quick and easy. However, we were given a room that was NOT completely clean. We asked for a different room and they did switch us to another room. The staff then upgraded us to a Balcony Room that had an excellent view to the Sitio Arqueologico de Ollentaytambo and right over the river. Rooms have no shampoo, conditioner or shower gel. No extra toilet paper. What you get is what you have. We tried asking for another roll but did not find anyone at the front desk. There was a fridge in every room. No AC, humidity is high. Breakfast was excellent. Any style eggs, medley fruit cup, coffee, juice, bread with strawberry jelly (not buffet style). The hotel arranged an exceptional transfer from Cusco airport to Ollentaytambo, our driver Luis made the route safely in 1 hour 40 minutes. The train station is a 10 minute walk down hill.👌 We really like this hotel for it's location but sad to say we would not stay here again.

The location is perfect and we enjoyed the views and the sound of the river just out our window. Service was mediocre: We communicated in advance to have a hair dryer and water kettle for coffee, and cream/milk. None was in the room. We had to remind them and even go down to the reception desk late at night. We left early the next morning and had made arrangements in advance for breakfast to go. When we came down at the pre-planned time, nothing was ready. The receptionist went to the kitchen to make it. It took a long time and we almost left without it because we had a train to catch.

We thought this hotel was a great place to stay. The location was good for us as it is very close to the ruins and the plaza de Armes (with many restaurants and shops). There are a couple of cute sitting areas which was nice for meeting up with other family members. Our rooms were next to the river with beautiful views. We were happy to have hot showers and a delicious breakfast in the morning. Plus the staff was very helpful.

The location is excellent! The Ollantaytambo ruins are in walking distance and have a great selection of restaurants around the hotel. The room was big and clean facing the spring. The door to the balcony is not soundproof so you will hear the loud water gushing through the spring all the time

Beautiful area, about 1-2 min walk to village center. 10 min walk to IncaRail/PeruRail. Very safe village to walk at night. Our reservation through Expedia wasn’t showing up on their system but they honored the receipt so very thankful for that. Breakfast was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. The shower was cold the first day but we moved rooms and problem was solved.

Location is a convenient 10-minute walk from the train station. The room has a good amount of space, and the balcony offers beautiful views. Breakfast was fine. We did encounter an issue with the cleanliness of the sheets, and a hotel in this price range should maintain higher standards in that area.

Staff is great, very helpful. The hotel is in the most central location. However our room’s shower has a blocked drain and it’s quite annoying.

The reason I am giving 1 star is because we did not stay in this place at all. We stayed opposite side of the property in totally different place.

Got into hotel around 10pm. lobby was dark and empty until someone behind desk sleeping showed himself and turned on a light. Super creepy guy who did not speak a lick of English. Hotel was nothing like images on website. Balcony on website was not really a balcony . Sheets and pillow cases had perminent stains on them, Pillows were all different sizes. Door lock looked like a simple bathroom lock. This was not a 3 star hotel but more like a 1-2 star hotel. I am a former Starwood executive and I would never recommend this place to any of my friends. This was totally misrepresented with their website The room door was simply a bathroom door lock that did not feel safe. Breakfast buffett was disgusting, lacking variety and what you would normally offer in a buffet. Worst hotel i stayed at in Peru.
