My stay at City Express by Marriott Hermosillo was average overall. The biggest downside was the noise — sounds from the corridors and nearby rooms could be heard very easily, which affected the comfort and privacy of the stay. The breakfast options were also quite limited, with not many varieties to choose from. The location itself is not the best, but one positive point is that there are street food vendors nearby, as well as a shopping mall within walking distance, which adds convenience. The best part of the hotel was the staff — they were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist whenever needed. Overall, it’s a decent place for a short stay, but there is room for improvement in soundproofing and breakfast variety. The main highlight is, shopping mall which is in walking distance.

WORST EXPIERENCE EVER! We stayed for 1 night (Thank God) in a double bedroom. Room was DIRTY upon arrival there has hairs and makeup smudges on bed sheets and pillows. There were also hairs hanging from shower curtain. Toilet was dirty! Lighting in room not good, we were there for a business event, and the lighting was horrible to do your makeup. The free breakfast the next morning wasn't good very plain, and coffee gave all of us an upset stomach. Overall, very bad experience. Stayed for the short distance to our event but I wish I just stayed at a better hotel and would've just done the drive. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

The hotel is right next to a horse and cattle arena. You will be showing flys away so you can eat breakfast. Only 3 people are nice to us here, the rest of the staff is unfriendly. I won't be staying here again. I don't feel comfortable here.

Reminds me of a Holiday Inn Express in the US. Room furnishings look like they came from IKEA, but better quality. Comfortable bed. The only English language channel on the TV is CNN. No hand towels or washcloths in the bathroom. I think this is their plan. I stayed 2 nights and both times none were put out. Breakfast variety is much better than HIX. They cook the food on site. Good security. The elevators require a key card swipe to work for your floor only. 110v and USB power receptacles available. A shout-out to Fernando, the night manager. While we were waiting for our ride, he held an impromptu raffle for a hotel pen. Quite original and fun.

Very impressed with the price and the room. As struggling Spanish speaker it was so nice to have someone able help in English after a long drive
