Warning is a big red flag They are advertising this property with a kitchen fully equipment When I got there all was a lie no washing machine not even pan to cook no chopping board no knife no Internet I have to wait for 48 hours before the Internet property smell like a sewage drain problem toilet paper they give you like in half use is lot more is endless complain I end up doing a shopping unnecessary shopping just to survive my 11 days You have no privacy they watching you all the time, even if being a guest for drink or dinner they wanna charge you And they have this policy if you are tourist, you have to pay Tax 3€ euro per day per person is something they made up and they blame the government for that and that they didn’t put in the advertising is lot of hidden cost be careful They have the right idea, but the wrong way running the business you gonna be end up having stress? You don’t need so do yourself a favour do not go stay there. And is not cheap if I was cheap you can consider living there I have every request with Expedia for your reputation. You should ban this people on your site. A lesson need to be learn. Very quick to take your money but you will never get a refund. I tried all I couldn’t do nothing so I had to stay. 11 day of hell And ya Mauritius is such a beautiful place, but people like that give a bad reputation and a bad experience holiday thank God is over. Very dirty (toilets not clean, hair on the bathroom floor, traces of toothpaste on the mirrors, floor not mopped). No one was attending the reception desk during business hours, had to call someone to check me in.

The place is disgusting, the sheets and towels are dirty. The blanket is used and not covered with a sheet. The feeling that the sheets are also used.

Free airport shuttle and free wifi were advertised on Expedia. In reality the hotel offered neither. I waited at the airport for an hour, then paid for a taxi. Finally arriving, found room dirty. The sliding doors couldn't lock or even close properly. No restaurant, and none in the area. No way to even buy a bottle of water. Could be OK if properly managed, but right now it's basically a scam.

Decent property. Main issue is cleaning and transport. Dead bugs in the cabinets, live ones in livingroom and we were charged double the taxi rate for the hotel transfer (something that other booking sites say is included).

Could not even stay there... had to book another accommodation

VERY DISAPPOINTED / *FALSE ADVERTISING*: NO onsite restaurants or coffee shops, “FREE” Airport Shuttle cost me 30 Euros. *OTHER COMPLAINTS* no hot water in the morning, front desk was supposed to be open 24 hrs but was closed at night when I needed help, mismatched old towels were damp and moldy smelling, mattress was old, hard, and springs poked me so I couldn’t sleep, and sliding door to the balcony (which was easily accessible from stairs to the apartment) didn’t lock so I feel unsafe - anyone could enter my room at any time. The property had been in contact with me via email to book a tour, but did not follow through and did not return further emails. I paid for transport back to the airport and hotel said they would arrange for a taxi to pick me up but it never came so I had to find another ride and could have missed my flight. ALSO, the name “Blue Bay Resort” is misleading. It is basically a large apartment complex without room service or a pool. The only positive thing I can share is the apartment was large with a nice balcony only one block from the beach.

The apartment is spacious and quite basic, but also in need of a facelift. There is air con in both bedrooms but not in the living room or kitchen; the door to presumably the 2nd bathroom in one of the bedrooms was locked which may simply have been an oversight (and wasn't a big deal as I was travelling solo; the beds were minimally comfortable; the only bathroom I saw was pretty worn and anything more than barely warm water did not happen. That being said, the room does match up to the price paid per night. Internet worked fine. The staff was very friendly. Buses and taxis are nearby, as is the airport, but don't expect much of a view (there's an empty lot with misc stuff scattered about).

Hotel staffs were unaware of my arrival. Wifi did not work for three days, broken doors, no lights in lounge for one night, no hot water in the bathroom for one day, noisy beds, smelly wardrobes, teared and stains towels, unsecure parking and got a very steep slopes at the entry, most of the time security staff did not come to open the gate and felt unsecure as anyone can come in. Only the cleaning staff was helpful and doing the job properly

When we got there we were told that there was no booking for us. They got us a room but it was not clean and they found us another room which was better. But the kitchen is poorly equipped. There wasn't any soap or towels, we had to keep going to reception to ask for basic things. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

in transit for one night we are surprised to arrive to a residence appartement instead of a hotel. The staff was really nice and helping. But there was no breakfast or meals possible, the apartment include a kitchen. there was no sheets provided either. So for a long stay and families coming with their sheets and groceries it would be a perfect place. for travelers, once you know, you deal with.

The room was simple and clean enough. The location is great for close proximity to the airport and walking distance to a nice beach. The staff were very helpful and the transfers from and to the airport were very useful. This hotel was fine for a short stay. I wouldn't want to spend longer than 1 night here as there is only 1 restaurant in walking distance and then a small resort where you can have a meal at resort prices. Any supermarkets are a 20 minute bus ride away if you don't have a hire car. The airplanes literally take off and land just above the roof of the hotel so it's very loud. Overall not a bad hotel for a stopover.

Good apartment and good owners. The bathrooms need to be refurbished, and they should keep some basic amenities. But otherwise a comfortable holiday home.

Walking distance to beach. Free airport shuttle but must insist that you saw it on their website. Or else, they try to make you pay for it.

The on duty staff is less helpful and difficult to communicate. The room is new but many things spoilt, such as balcony lights are not function and dark. We do not have hot water supply during the night, informed the staff, but the problem still not settle. The bed sheet has sand.

"Hôtel" ? Suis pas difficile mais on avait l'impression d'avoir touché le fond dans cet établissement ... L'appartement avait 2 chambres. Décoration démodée. Mais surtout TRÈS sale. (Poussière, gras dans la cuisine et j'en passe). Certaines prises électriques ne fonctionnaient pas. Ibis budget passe pour un palace !

It was a nightmare. When we arrived there was a guy on the street, no reception that was not expecting us and had to call somebody. We had to buy coffee powder, it was dirty, wifi was not working and there were no sheets. IT was very dirty
