The views were amazing. We were able to watch the cruise ships in port as well as downtown. Our villa was large and clean. The towel exchange was very easy. There were a lot of steps, which we knew about before, but if mobility is an issue, it could be difficult to navigate. The restaurant on site needs much better signage as their hours of operation could be confusing. The bar/restaurant area was understaffed most of the week we were there. The servers who were there worked very hard and were very good. It was off-putting, especially when we’re weren’t sure where to sit for the meals. The food was very good.
The pool and sundeck area was great. Plenty of chairs and a nice shade area. The pool was clean, but it was only 3.5 ft deep. So, if you’re looking for more than wading, it will be a disappointment. The hot tub is small, but adequate.
We had a great week and would stay again if we returned to St Thomas. Please add a water filling station…it was hot and we had to bother the bartenders for water. We both felt the front deck staff was not very friendly or welcoming. When we checked out, we didn’t even receive a THANK YOU. However, one clerk gave us a bottle of water because the store did not have any in stock. The store was marginal at best. The staff working the front entrance (bellmen?) were EXCELLENT they were always friendly and helpful. Taxi’s were plentiful and timely. We had a great week. Thank you.
