Great resort stay, facilities were great, staff were helpful and friendly. However quite far from town, so really good if you wanted to stay on resort or rent a car. Take into consideration. Our stay was fantastic.

Very comfortable accommodation in our family bungalow, plenty of space and a great outlook but the rest of the experience at Le Life was disappointing - limited menu, slow and inconsistent service, poor facilities costing too much to use (eg, old and dirty kayaks sitting unused for hire for $50 aud for two hours). Limited village access or interesting activities nearby, compared to other parts of Efate. The clientele also seemed to be mostly retired Australians who smoked in the dining area constantly. Not enjoyable apart from comfortable beds.

Awesome scenery from up there, beautiful crystal clear water but that’s it. Bungalows were ok for easy going people with no expectations, otherwise you’ll be quite disappointed. Everyday we experienced power cuts. All the food that’s advertised on social media, forget it, there is no chef so very limited menu available and really expensive. Placing an order was a big challenge because the workers don’t really speak English and even with basic communication they were preparing whatever they wanted and everyday the food was different from the day before and bare in mind that for anything you order is at least 1 hour waiting, even if you’re the only customer. The Quality of the food was very very low, we also got a food poisoning. We have been to Vanuatu before so we had already some standards in mind but up there is really different compared to the capital. I wouldn’t recommend to stay there for more than 2 days. No transportation around, definitely better to have a car. Elizabeth is the only superstar of that place, bless her that she made our staying much more enjoyable. Personally I don’t like to leave this type of reviews but I hope it can help anyone to make their booking choice…there are so many wonderful places in Efate where is better to spend your money.

Our first room had no fly screens (there are mozzies) but after we raised this, they moved us to a screened room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful spot.

Beautiful location and setting. Large and well appointed accommodation fares with direct access to private beach with very nice swimming and snorkeling. Dining was slow and limited as they work on repairing main dining area from cyclones earlier in the year.

Excellent stay. The property was to a high standard and right on the beachfront. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was the best we had in Vanuatu.

Paradise. Le Life resort was perfect for our large family group. We spent 4 nights and had an amazing time switching off from the outside world and immersing ourselves in nature. Accommodation is simple with no TVs or modern day luxuries which is perfect for the surrounds and location. They were earlier this year hit badly by a cyclone which wiped out the restaurant and they are still recovering from this. The reef here is incredible with some of the best snorkeling we have experienced in our visits to Vanuatu we even saw whales one day. We had many visits from lovely dogs and many of tasty meals. All the staff are incredibly friendly and go over and above to assist you. Thank you Jacques, family and staff we cannot wait to return!

We absolutely loved our few days at Le Life The staff were so obliging nothing was a problem. We loved the food even though they had a shortage due to the Cyclones and earthquake. The beach area was excellent and we were able to do some snorkeling just in front of our room. Need to watch the currents (I would like to say don’t go because we want to keep it a secret for ourselves) Hope you enjoy this hidden gem like us.

This place is perfect few days away from Port Vila, I absolutely loved it. There were a couple of bad reviews which concerned me but when I got there I was very happy. But if want perfectly querky and your not a perfectionist then you will fall in love like I did and I was so sad to leave. It’s better then the photos. Few hiccups with power and water but always very quick to fix , wifi variable which I was ok with me - but if these thing bother u then maybe stay in Port Vila as those things are related to the area. the restaurant was so cute, pet bird and cat and 2 really lovely dogs, There is a father and daughter from Australia who owners and work very had and have put a lot of love into the place Villas have had s recent upgrade, breakfast was included which choices like omelette , French toast, crepes (I thought it was just going to be bread and jam so I was very happy..Though the baguettes in Vanuatu are amazing snd I stopped my low carb diet for them, food menu was great and food delicious . The ambience is beautiful and so this place is very good value for money. Staying north Efate for a few days is perfect. It’s fairly remote but enough to do in the area. Would add the blue pools east on the way to Le life and the snorkeling west of Le life, can’t recall the name but ask the staff about 20 mins. Staff are lovely and happy to help with anything u need.We hired s yellow mini moke when you go through the villages EVERY body waves every one is so friendly

Location was fantastic, bungalows lovely but the wait for service at the restaurant and bar frustrating. We waited for an hour for breakfast one day. Staff very friendly. I suggest you bring a few groceries before you come, unless you have a car and can drive to the store.

Amazing place with so many hidden adventure nearby, Le Life is run and surrounded by beautiful people not far from Epule village. If your looking for a fantastic place away from port vilas hustle and bustle and want to reconnect with nature this is the place to stay.

If you love camping and caravaning with the associated insect life, love being off the beaten track and love spectacular places, then this is the place for you. The staff very helpful and always smiling. Meals at the restaurant were good value. This place is a work in progress they were hit hard by the cyclone and are in the process of rebuilding. A lovely laid back place away from all the touristy resorts.

We stayed at Le Life Resort for 5 nights in November 2016. Perfect for a relaxing getaway lulled to sleep by the ocean waves every night. The managers and staff are very friendly and helpful and good food is available at the restaurant on site.

A rustic, beautiful 'real Vanuatu' experience. Welcomed into the family as soon as you arrive. Privacy galore BUT every opportunity to get to know local people. A kind of social enterprise really. Worth every cent and more. Didn't want to leave!
