I was so frustrated at the lack of communication from the property. My phone broke before I got there and they required me to check in 48hrs prior in order to receive the instructions. For what? They dont have a reception that is staffed around the clock. It should be written in their bio or something. The location is great though - close to everything from the beach to museums to shopping centres. I wasn’t a fan of windows overlooking a wall - so no sunlight. Also the noise was unbearable. You hear absolutely everything happening in the building and even more if you don’t close the windows. The cleaning lady seemed very mad because the noise she made was uncanny - every. Single. Morning.

Apartment was well run and very well located. Small but it had everything needed for a comfortable short stay.

We arrived in the middle of the night and the instructions to enter the apartment and get to our room were very clear and straight forward. The room was clean and up to a good standard.

Old building converted to hotel. Modern bathroom with nice shower. Staff was accommodating with luggage.

Considering the location, it was priced very reasonable

Made a Booking for one person, then added another due to change of the plan. Despite the room being a double, the property owner made it so very difficult and tried to charge much more than what was stated on the website. Also, the premises was very noisy, room was uncomfortable, crammed and badly equipped. Found it just trelable for an overnight stay due to late arrival.

The ceiling had the original beams exposed, which was cute! Great caretaker who let me into the building, as a solo traveller I felt very safe

I liked the location. There is a bus that you can take from airport that is close to plaza de la merced.

The apartment was a bit dated but fine. It was very small but ok for the price. The people at the desk were very helpful but nobody is there until about noon.

Very old room where you don’t want to spend more than one night. But it’s very safe and the location is great.

Food Price and value

Cheap and great location. Accommodation has good facilities. Downsides: mattress made for a poor sleep; no mirror other than one in bathroom; no outside windows; poor condition - needs a little TLC.

The room was small, but it had more facilities than most hotels we have stayed in.

This little studio apartment is great value for money, very close to the beautiful Plaza de la Merced. Communication before the trip (about how to access the building for late arrival) was excellent. Everything was very clean and comfortable. There was nice rooibos and green tea in the kitchen area. Thank you:) The noise from the karaoke bar and some building work going on somewhere in the building was a problem for me because I was working while I was there and it was hard to hear people on Teams meetings, but maybe it wouldn't be an issue for other people. Overall, a great place for the budget traveller.

Great stay. We arrived after the reception had closed, but the instructions from the staff were very detailed so we did not have any problems to get in. The apartment is small but comfortable. We did not have time to use any appliances but everything looked clean and tidy. The location is fantastic: just 1 minute walking from a beautiful and lively square (Plaza de la Merced) and 5-10 minutes from the cathedral. I recommend it!

At first glance the apartment appeared small and dark. However it had everything we needed. The stairs to the bedroom were metal and steep but we managed by leaving on a nightlight. The patio promptly closed at 11:30 pm with no noise after. The location is excellent! You can walk to everything and return to your room as needed. The front desk staff spoke English and were very pleasant . Overall the apartment is great for someone wanting location and price:)

Accommodation is in a great location, walking distance to everything. They do not offer a spa as advertised. The soundproofing is poor or non existent, the noise from the roof bar carries to the accommodation, it does stop at around 11:30, there is also a lot of noise in the corridor with voices and doors banging. The main issue was the condition of the apartment, everything is worn and in need of replacing, the washing machine is very old and is not fit for purpose, leaving washing sodden wet even after spin/drain. The cleanliness is poor with filthy cupboards and mould on the walls. The bed/bedding was clean on our arrival but was not changed in the 8 nights we stayed.
