This hotel has outstanding overseeing view of Titicaca lake. Watching sunrise from the room is magnificent experience. Room is nice and bed was very comfortable. Hotel has a garden overseeing Titicaca lake and beautiful sunset and sunrise could be seen. Dinner at restaurants was very delicious. My stay at GHL hotel Lago Titicaca was amazing and would definitely stay again.

The hotel was very comfortable, great views for the hotel. The carpet in the room needs to be replace, it was pretty beat up.

While the public areas of the property were lovely, the room was a bit shabby, needing some renovation. The views of the lake were beautiful.

Beautiful hotel with property utilizing almost an entire island. We enjoyed hiking around island on the hotel property. Easy access to town via taxi. Restaurant and bar were delightful. Views of Lake Titicaca were spectacular. We highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel

Other than a pretty view, the hotel is not worth 4 stars, let alone 5. The entire hotel is outdated and needs renovation. The food is heavy and greasy (worst meal we've had in Peru so far). Check-in was listed at 3pm and the room was not ready before 3:30 pm despite limited occupation of the hotel. I contacted the hotel about the transfer from the airport (which is listed as a service) and only received a reply more than 1h after we had checked-in and had organized our own transfer). Also, we inquired about tours with the hotel and they systematically quoted prices that were significantly higher than every other tour company we spoke to - we ended up booking alternative services because the hotel recommendations were terrible. The beds in the room were also very small and there is no convenient transfer to the city (you need to get taxis on your own). Would not recommend.
