The same review from previous. However, I would prefer the superior queen other than this type. The room space was not as comfortable as the superior queen. This one felt smaller, despite the space is bigger. The room has no working desk, or another desk to put the bottle water. It only has desk for a landline phone. Only has one electricity socket also. The bathroom space still the same. The cleanliness no difference, need our own cover for the bed and the pillow.

A very friendly staff. They accepted my early check-in, around 11 AM. The room [is] ] quite packed but still comfy for me, [there are] ] still many spaces to work. They have a comfortable space to work from the mattress. However, if you are a freakishly clean person, you need to bring your own mattress' cover, or at least [a] ] pillow cover. They have a not so-clean cover (I used my scarf to cover it). The bathroom is small. You need to ask for a mat if you don't want your room floor wet. The location is very strategic, very near to [a] ] mall and many stores, the most convenient hotel to get to the station, only 2-5 mins walking distance.

At midnight, at 1 o'clock and above, I could still hear the sound of moving things. In the morning, the sound of construction started to become noisy.

They should work on a better sound proof room. It's very noisy. Lots of construction in progress nearby, and the hotel rooms are quite small. This hotel doesn't have a good view. However, the location is very strategic.

deSatu Hotel Medan is in a great location, right inside the Centre Point Mall complex, so you can just walk if you want to shop or find food. Medan Station is also only a 5-minute walk away, very practical for those who want to take the train to Kualanamu Airport. The room is clean and the AC is cold, although the size is a bit small. But it doesn't matter, because you only need a place to rest. The facilities are okay for a 3-star hotel. There is free WiFi (but sometimes slow), a flat-screen TV, and a toilet with fast running water. What makes it fun is the very friendly service! The reception is 24 hours and ready to help with anything. There is only a deposit of IDR 100,000 that must be paid in cash upon check-in, but it is also returned upon check-out, I think it's reasonable for a hotel to require a deposit. Breakfast is not included, but fortunately there are many dining options around the hotel. There is the legendary Soto Sinar Pagi only 1.8 km from here, or if you are too lazy to go out, you can eat at the Centre Point Mall food court. For those who like Medan culinary, the location of this hotel is really spot on! Some minor things that are uncomfortable according to other visitors are the noise from the highway (especially if you get a room on the ground floor), but in my personal experience the room is soundproof, and the sheets look a bit dull. But for the price of around IDR 300-500 thousand/night, I think it's worth it, especially if you get a promo. In conclusion, deSatu Hotel is very suitable for short stays or transit. The location is super strategic, the facilities are sufficient, and the price is affordable. Several times I have been to Medan for business trips or family trips, I always come back to this hotel. For those looking for a cheap but not shabby hotel, this is one of the best recommendations in the city center!
