We had a great stay and cannot wait to come back

Everything was stellar! Cheers to Sharea the dive instructor. She is an exeptional teacher and guide. I could t have been happier at Mayan. The price and quaility was exponential.

The good: -pretty resort grounds -GREAT staff -good selection of drinks -elegant rooms -comfy bed -great location and the beach view is breathtaking -food exceeded our expectations Heads up: -I am blonde and my hair turned green in the pool. (This has happened my whole life in private pools, never public pools and I worked at several for 5 years. Came out with a special shampoo, good to go. Hotel may want to check chlorine and PH levels more frequently and make sure they’re hitting targets.) -this is a boutique all inclusive. Food isn’t available after 9, which is a little early. We had snacks in our room for evening and would grab popcorn from the snack stand in the afternoon to save! -you might have to walk to the front desk to request extra linens, hair dryer etc. the staff is great, but this isn’t a chain Dreams resort and you don’t have a tablet to request items. That was MORE than fine with us, the staff was probably the best all resort staff we’ve ever had!!

Generally a pleasant stay. Food and bars were great/plentiful & dive shop/operation too; however, the A/C kept shutting off by itself around midnight each night causing me to wake because of the heat to re-start the A/C.

I loved the beach right there! But all inclusive was very confusing! Staff took soooo long to get drinks and food out. And i was very dissapointed that my children being locals of the island could not wait for me in my room while i changed. Will not stay here again...

The hotel is very nice and the personnel is very friendly. The best of this resort is the beach. Expectacular!!!!!!

The breakfast wasn’t good but lunch and dinner was amazing

Service was impecable. The beach is kept clean, plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. The hotel room had a couple of burnt light bulbs and the WiFi only worked for one of our 4 night stay. The staff attempted to fix it almost daily. There was a different menu nightly for dinner. Good choices with tasty food. Unfortunately certain items would run out even though we were always there shortly after opening. The tours and transportation offered were great. We’d definitely stay again.

Quick get away trip for 3 days. Property was well maintained. Rooms was clean, water pressure for the shower was a little low at times but still good enough for a shower. Buffet options were decent. I found the meal at the onsite restaurants was better. Beach front was clean and nice.

Monica was really the only person that we met who was friendly, genuinely friendly. Lots other employees act like they hate tourists and like they hate their jobs.

The food was a 10/10, this is my third trip to Roatan and the Mayan was the best experience by far. All the staff was friendly and the option for dinner reservations was amazing. Thanks for a wonderful trip, can’t wait to come back.

The food quality and options are excellent.

La cama principal tronaba demasiado, cada vez que te volteabas tronaba la cama, el inodoro no esta pegado al suelo y se tambaleaba cada vez que lo usabas. La atencion en la area de los snacks es escasa. La cobija del sofa cama estaba desgastada.

Everything was good, except that in a recession, bad behavior, one arrives and they don't even say good, they are talking among themselves and one is standing, then they say, "Call us about the room at 3," and they didn't even call, I had to go, like at 3:20 p.m. You have to work more in a recession.

My stay at this property was wonderful! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the property itself is beautiful. While the rooms have a slightly outdated brown interior, they are still very cozy and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. There was one issue regarding the premium liquor included in my package. The hotel’s website advertised brands such as Patrón and Don Julio, which influenced my decision to book. However, when I attempted to order these at the bar on my first day, I was informed that they were not included. After seeking clarification from the front desk the following day, I was told that premium liquor was indeed part of the package. Despite this, the bar staff continued to deny my request. It was only after speaking with the bar manager and showing the website’s advertisement that the issue was resolved. Unfortunately, the bar staff seemed reluctant to provide premium liquor for the remainder of my stay. Aside from this, my trip was excellent. The hotel’s location is perfect, with everything within walking distance. Additionally, they offer a convenient store where guests can use a credit card to receive cash back in either USD or Honduran currency. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would recommend this hotel.
