First impression , just beautifully done . Lovely grounds . Tje staff - porters, dining staff - wonderful, courteous and helpful . Disappointed, my room was not properly cleaned . Noted in the shower all corners dirty with hair , debris . Also a few cobwebs . Tje black walls had soap and other residues . Did politely point out the issue and requested a good clean up . It was not done . Biggest problem - the staff is not trained in handling if any medical issues arose . Not knowing what to do , they get fearful and just avoid handling it . This is an administration issue . I think if the staff is trained well they would follow better . Also , one would expect someone to be in charge and be at the reception area at night - not a soul present . Not acceptable . It’s a shame that I had to write this because the hotel of this stature and being quite expensive should not have any of the above issues . It’s the owner who is and should be responsible .

The food was fantastic. Zagmo and the kitchen staff turned out excellent food. The India food was much better than any Indian Restaurant we know on Vancouver Island, and the kitchen staff was able to make excellent Western style breakfasts when we wanted them. All of the staff were great, from the front desk to the porters. Even if I were to stay in a less expensive hotel in Hunder, I would definitely come to this hotel just for the meals!

A perfect 10/10 stay at this stunning property in Nubra Valley! It’s one the most beautiful & well equipped resorts I have had the chance to stay in Ladakh. The rooms are nothing short of spectacular. They are spacious, clean and very thoughtfully designed. The attention to detail is commendable. The food & spa facilities were something that I was pleasantly surprised with. I haven’t had better food in Ladakh! 🙌

A very beautiful hotel, very tastefully done. The staff was very courteous and helpful . Amazing stay at hotel Stone Hedge. Rooms are very neat and clean with five star amenities. Surly will come back again.
