Our Glamping experience was great, clean, roomy, big fan-you need a big fan. Group bathrooms were very clean! Restaurant had great pizza and chicken Alfredo! ... hamburger was not the best, but okay. Breakfast was good and the coffee was tasty. We didn't get in the pools, but lots of families did. Staff were super helpful giving us tips on what highways to take. They are only 20 minutes from SEMUC CHUMPY. Porters helped us with our luggage as huge parking lot to tent was about a 300 yard walk. Beds were comfortable and sheets clean! Mater of fact the inside of the tent was cleaner than most hotels. Best part of the stay was waking up to the sounds of nature and almost no human noises at all! The only thing that we wised for was a railing up the steps into our tent #8.

This was a great property however there are many things that could be improved: 1-cleaningness: glamping area bathrooms and sinks were dirty and smelly. Add "no tirar papel en el inodoro" signs in English as well since not everybody may understand (-ejemplo: Please do not dispose of toilet paper or any other products directly in the toilet. Use trash can only) 2- las áreas verdes estaban bien cuidadas. Sin embargo había una baby tarántula en el área de las películas al aire libre. Sería bueno tener esa área libre de animalitos (aunque la naturaleza es su hogar) 3-the hotel should have their own tuc tucs and should specify a standard tarif. My bf and I were overcharged twice to go and return from San Agustin Lanquin. These scamming practices don't help the locals! 4- the hotel should also partner up with Victor (from across the road) who has a private property with river access. Q20 per person SOOOOOO WORTH IT!! 5- food is slightly over priced for the quantity and quality. Better eat in town. drinks were also on the expensive end BUY YOUR OWN!!! and keep in room. great in safety and staff hospitality.

The glamp site was really comfortable to sleep in. There a fan which helped keep us cool at night. It was a really pretty site with the tents, string lights and jungle behind us. The restaurant on site wasn't bad. We had dinner there one night. The staff was really friendly and it was only about 20 mins drive to semuc champey. We flagged a tuk tuk from the street. The bathrooms were cleaned regularly, does have bugs which can't be helped I guess. But there was a mouldy smell which can be fixed.

We glamped. Its good - the tents are watertight, beds comfortable and the fans are good. Food is good in the restaurant and the staff are nice. Issue is that the management seem to have lost focus, the pools were awful, ive seen clearer duck ponds, the bar doesnt seem to have been open for a while and when we arrived we were told the restaurant was going to close early. It was low season but still, the services should be there or otherwise make it clear they are not working in the listing on hotels.com.

Room decor and space 10/10. One of the best rooms I’ve been in. Just a 5 star room. One small detail though - no AC. It’s over 100 degree and you are boiling in this gorgeous room. Sigh. They need to install AC!! It’s not enjoyable in a heated room with large industrial fans re-circulating hot air.

This place is awesome! We stayed in the tents and it was our favorite place that we stayed the entire trip to Guatemala. I slept VERY well (best night sleep of the entire trip). There was a fan in the tent that kept the temperature perfect. The property was beautiful and there were trucks that would drop by to offer rides to Semuc Champey, so it was very easy to get there. If you go to Semuc Champey, get a guide when you get down there to take you into the caves. The caves were awesome!

Cool hotel on nice property located about 30 mins from Semuc Champey. Many activities to choose from however PLEASE REMEMBER YOU ARE STILL IN GUATEMALA! Lots of details prevent me from giving it a higher rating. Tents are clean. Beds are hit or miss I rented 3 tents for 3 friends 2/3 beds were comfortable. ONE outlet per tent. Bathrooms were clean but lacked amenities. Bring all you will need. Soap, toiletries, insect repellent, Clorox wipes, etc. Breakfast included VERY limited see picture of breakfast coupon and only drink options were coffee w/ 1 refill (no milk, milk was Q10 extra, in a country where coffee is a staple) or orange juice. The camp fire with marsh-mellows and sausages is Q100 per camp fire. Capacity of 2 per night. BEST PART of hotel was ziplining on property, cost Q150. Small hike to top of property, 2 lines, worth it for me. Transportation to Semuc only at 8:30am Q110 r/t pp in shared vehicle, private option Q400 r/t per vehicle at any time. Cave and rafting tour available only with reservation well in advance. WORST PART of hotel is the restaurant, food is pricey (for Guatemalan standards) and not tasty, service is also Guatemalan. Workers are very friendly and helpful, tipping goes a long way. ANYTHING you pay for with credit card has a 5% SERVICE CHARGE.

Bedroom needs a closet - there is nowhere to hang anything. A huge room with no drawers or closet We were disappointed that they arranged a new year eve dinner but not everyone was informed of it which was strange. By the time we found out it was sold out Hotel is beautiful though

Best glamping in Guatemala. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy to book guided tours to Semuc Champey, bat caving, and mirador at the hotel for about $100 per couple. Restaurant menu could be better but the nachos were the best. Tents were comfortable. Bring mosquito repellent and towels
